Don't get confused, it isn't a racial issue as much as an issue dealing with poverty, poor education, and urbanization - which in turn manifests from a faulty structure in society. And my gosh, talking about integrated, all black people have been integrated for hundereds of years! When black people begin having an attitude of elitism about their own culture is when they will lose respect from other cultures - because the truth is black culture is not "best".
I agree. Black men have become VERY meek in terms of addressing our issues passionately the way Dr. Stovall does.I admire his determination, especially in such a racially segregated city like Chicago. Thanx for adding this.
