i miss the old days watching liberty kids in the fifth grade classroom and often at home they need liberty kids back on tv and the song is even better this song is the best song ever written and i learned almost everything about history by watching liberty kids and if you hate this song then why are you listening to it get off here and dont press thumbs down or dont leave a rude comment because if you think this song is bad well then your on crack or somthing THUMBS UP IF YOU AGREE yaa dog yaa
I heard this song in social studies and looked up and rlly liked it :D but i havnt heard of any of the singers though :P then i started watching rachel vs guy cooking challenge on the food network and then i realized that aaron carter was on there and im like holy crap thats him!
omg this brings bac so many memories!! i can remember sitting infront of the tv when i was like 3 or 4, not having one clue what they were really talking about but i just loved the show! now being in the 8th grade and learning about american history....this show is thee best!
I watched this a lot in Social Studies in 5th grade, learning about the American Revolution. Here I am today, a fabulously 14 year old 8th grade, learning about the revolution like a big kid (lame). Somehow I doubt we will, but I totally want to watch this.
The song was created for show. Starting 1:11 is the part used for the show. The rap part specifically (indirectly) references the show more so than any other part of the song. Carter and Hinkle have also lended their voices for characters in the show.
The song has since grown more famous than the show.
MastermewtwoALPHA i agree with you I'm 16 now too and heard this song in 4th grade cause we watched liberty kids the whole class memorized the opening theme.i still remember the song 100 percent and I actually record the liberty kids reruns just cause i brings back memories as to what our four fathers went through in that area.love this song man.
This song touched my heart when I first heard it as a kid, and it still touches me now at the age of 16. The message within it still somewhat applies to today's world as it did to the American Revolution, once one thinks of it.
liberty's kids bring so much memories when i watch it in class i have like daysha foe of whats going to happen and im in love with this song great voices and great rap god blesss everyone who loves this one and even the ones that are less unfortunant thumbs up if u agree with me :) <3 love u god :)
at first i was so embarrassed cause in my class my teacher would pick a student to sing this song in front of the class, and now i can't stop hearing this song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't get kids and teens these days. I <3 Liberty's Kids,it is about history. People can't get off the phone and look into history. You'll always have your phone, but its not everyday you see a 13 year old who isn't texting on their iPhone and looking up history. Your with your phone everyday, but everyday history fades away, and gets another day older. History is only in books and plays and what not
@BloodOnRoses127 incorrect.. history is doomed to repeat for those who dont remember.. america is reaching a return to revolution if we do not keep a signal flare for those who wish to see.
in fact we are so close all we really need is "a shot heard round the world" to restart the fight for freedom.

I just realized something peculiar.
This song was first unveiled July 4, 2002. The show debuted September 2, 2002.

Either way, my opinion is that the song was developed before the song is highly unlikely, especially given Hinkle's lack of celebrity status.
