when did they actually announce the beginning of filming season 3?

was there any other reason for the original girls not to come back besides the age? whereas I think they already looked pretty grown up by the time season 2 ended... a little bit of make up to make them look younger and a voice over such as "2 years later" might have done the trick...

I like the original cast way better...

0h, that I know... I just thought, since she said, she went to breyer fest with the saddle club, that she went there a couple of years ago, with the first cast and announced season three therefor ages ago, also planning to film it with the first cast...
