Why is it "erroneous"? Science shows that planet earth goes through periods of warming as well as cooling all the time. Scientific studies show that planet earth is actually entering a period of cooling now. It's all apart of the earth's natural cycle and NOT a consequesnce of humans and our CO2 emissions. CO2 is actually a natural part of our atmosphere and plants couldn't live without it. In fact, when a volcanoe erupts, it emits more CO2 than the entire period of the industrial revolution

And I wouldn't use the word "cooling" to refer to the sun's temperature. I have read, however, that the sun is emitting less solar flares than in recent years. The sun is apparently going through a period of less intensity which will result in a chillier Earth.

I have no motivation to do so. What I do know however is that there are many scientists who have thoroughyly debunked global warming.
