You know what? I've been playing drums for 35 years and this guy really has the right idea. The trick to playing drums (or any other musical instrument for that matter) at any level is in hearing and feeling it. It's not about technique and chops and all that hockus pockus stuff. It's about feeling it.

There is a lot more to drumming than just that, and this guy really has none of this. To accompany the "feel" required to play musically, you really need to have the "ability" to play it.

Drums can not only keep the beat but also and in most cases do add to themelody of the guitar by giving it more deffinition between variations. A good example could be Breaking Benjamin - Believe. It's fairly obvious in that song.
