Wh, what are you talking about? Konjou (= Perseverance) Mode isn't a family name, it's the name of one of the 3 game modes of the game! There are 3 modes: Renshuu (Exercise), Kokuhaku (Confession), and Konjou (Perseverance). The difference between those modes is the number of opponents you fight, as well as Konjou Mode being the only one of them treating you with the ending of the girl you're playing with, and giving your high score at the end (thus why I play in Konjou Mode).
Yep, it's not an easy game. Mainly because of the "One try against the last opponent" rule, IMO, otherwise by spamming continues it would have become much easier. Glad you managed to finish it ! ;)
I sadly can't tell you for sure, as I don't own the Original Soundtrack. But my guess would be that it's the tune "Kokuhaku" (Love Confession).
And I don't pirate, so I don't know where to download it, and even then I encourage you to buy the OST in the first place. Nippon Export for example is a good place to order it.
Yep, Kaori has a nice background story, and the fact that in TM2, she can disappear from your girl roster if she doesn't love you enough, is really an original twist (well, in the Tokimemo series at least ; because Mitsumete Knight exploited this before and much more than TM2).
Well, about which TM is better, this is IMO. At least the contents to price ratio really goes in favour to TM1. Two games overall identical, with one 10 times more pricey than the other, the choice is obvious to me.
Congrats on the final boss pwnage.
