@pax41 There is the original New York times review of this show, Oh Look!, available by googling the name. It also is a delight to read. (Dramatic criticism has come a long way!......)
I really am on a learning curve! I did not realise that this song was so old. This is a beautiful interpretation of it and I am happy to have found it on YT.
is new to me, and the lyrics and music are exceptional. I wonder if you could add the words. I've found them, but it would be good
to see them in the description. I thought this song and the voice of George are entrancingly beautiful. This was from a musical comedy. Yes, I can see where it's
funny; but, also, like a lot of comedy, happy and sad at the same time. I went to your
channel, and who could've guessed the wondeful surprise there!
AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW THERE'S HAPPINESS AND TO FIND IT HOW OFTEN I TRY BUT MY LIFE IS A RACE JUST A WILD GOOSE CHASE AND MY DREAMS HAVE ALL BEEN DENIED WHY HAVE I ALWAYS BEEN A FAILURE WHAT CAN THE REASON BE I WONDER IF THE WORLD'S TO BLAME I WONDER IF IT COULD BE ME I'M ALWAYS CHASING RAINBOWS WATCHING CLOUDS DRIFTING BY MY SCEMES ARE JUST LIKE ALL MY DREAMS ENDING IN THE SKY (continued)
Nice...I'd never heard the lyrics before. I first heard this as a piano version of Rod Miller, Disneyland's former fantastic Main Street player. His version has so many arpeggio curls, it makes you langh!! 5*

It is indeed a very old song and Mr Harrison does such a fine job on it too. Glad you liked it by Scotch friend!
