Yeah - I never understood their desire to surround me with a dance routine - I really wanted my band, but guess it wasn't "TV" enough! They brutally chopped down the song, as you see, but I consider myself lucky, the guy who did Meat Loaf's "Paradise by the dashboard light" had a 7 minute epic cut to under 3!

Hey Kev!! For a few years now, there has been talk of a movie based on the book Phil's mom wrote about him. I understand Gary Dourdan from CSI will play him, but man they could sure use you for the live scenes!!

You may not believe this, but I was contacted not long after the show through Lisa L'anson's programme on Radio 1, with a view to auditioning for the movie. It was shelved at the time, then I heard from the casting agency again in London a year or two later, and it looked like it was going ahead, with Holly Hunter as Phils Mum, but still it never got off the ground. Lets hope it finally gets made!
