Yes, A part of God died...
when? I don't remember the exact date, sometime between 0-100A.D.
How? On the cross, Jesus suffered a shameful, slow, and painful death.
Why? So that through faith in Him, our sins may be atoned.
This isn't what my Christian belief teaches me, this is what the Bible teaches me. A part of God can die because He chose to limit himself being fully man and fully God. He took God's wrath on the cross for our iniquities, if we choose to believe in him!

omnipotence is limitless power is it not? then with that much power God could do what He damn well pleases and we shouldn't put Him in a box and say what He can or can not do.. And Christianity makes perfect sense to me because it's the only religion I know where God gets ALL OF THE GLORY for saving us... Salvation.. Sanctification.. Justification... these aren't things that you can earn! we are far to imperfect and even if we did earn them that would probably result in us boasting about it..
