  • Wasn't a bad go. :) A few mistakes here and there, but not too shabby at all. Nice job. :)

  • where do you get your backtrack????

  • this is great but you should learn whole song

  • I had one switches one very low volume so that it sounded very clean. the other I had on a higher volume so that the distortion was better for the solo.

  • Wat waz dat switch u flicked halfway through the song?

  • that was great! but it sounded weried. but I understand why.

  • at the end u can hear the tv haha

    on another note::::::

tht was awesome!!!!!!!!! honestly, ive watched like 10 vids of this solo being covored and urs is the only on tht looked like u were actualy playing lol and it sounded spot on (until the end)

  • yea its really good clean or distorted sound. i would recommend it. the only knobs though are gain, volume, and tone (contour). so yea, if you are looking for different effects and stuff, don't get it but its a very good practice amp.

  • killer job. u have the exact setup i want. the gibson les paul studio and the marshall mg10cd. the only thing i didnt like was in the end it sounded a little bit out of tune but its an easy 5/5

  • cool dude. and yea, the end was my fault I think. right now I'm saving up for this $200 30 watt roland amp

  • awesome. right now i have a peavey rage 258 (pretty nice) and a crap strat copy but its ok for now. i WAS gonna get an epiphone les paul 100 but...ive seen that the gibson lp studio is dropping dramatically (went down $300 in a couple months!) and am saving up for one of those or a used one :D keep up the good work

  • Dude, I don't even like rock... in fact, I hate it. That was STILL amazing. Damn.

  • what pickups do you use.

  • well, i had to look it up cause I wasn't sure. They are humbuckers, obviously, but I don't know enough to tell you what type or anything. sorry.

  • thanks dude. check out my other vids if you'd like. and it's called bending by the way.

  • what are the settings on your amp help me please

  • haha, sure but only cause you sound desperate. I have a very simple amp, a Marshall MG10CD, so I only have 3 knob settings (Volume, Distortion, and Contour). The distortion I think I had at like halfway and the contour was at the bottom but I don't think the tone on my vid was very good. I would probably use more contour and a little less distortion on the solo but more distortion on the outro.

  • only a year????? good job.

  • yup, a year and a few weeks as of today. thanks a bunch.

  • no its gibson. Gibson SG sounds awesome. don't let that one go.

  • yup, its a gibson les paul.

  • very good men:)

  • thanks a lot! yea, there's always gonna be some bumps on the road. just keep practicing and it will always pay off. good luck and send me some vids if you want.

  • nice...

  • too much distortion

    lower it by a little

    otherwise its good'

    =]

  • You're so awesome!! :D

  • wow that was really good...in my opinion it was better then mine...Suscribe me and il return the favor dude! Peace!

  • also toward the end where its just bends. that seems to be the only thing. also, have fun with it. the song is meant to rock out. don't take the tabs to literally. you could experiment with it. at least you have the foundation of what it should sound like. just shoot for a more natural playing style as opposed to reading the tab note for note. what version are you playing from, bbc sessions or studio version? otherwise this is pretty much perfect.

  • thank you sir! you have kind words. its actually straight from the studio. BBC session version isn't even close to this actually. owned.

  • a little advice, mr. berg. first off, its really accurate. the only thing you might want to look out for is the bends. make sure they are the same note jimmy page is hitting. like the bend at 1:04 and 1:10.

  • yea good advice. i'll be working on that. i remember when i was recording my palms were really sweaty cause i was nervous for some reason. i think i could probably hit the right notes no problem but it seemed like in this recording i was just trying to hard or something. i dont know. i hate excuses but that was seemed like was happening

  • that's sick man keep it up..seriously amazing

  • 1 year?....that's immense...nice playing man. Just watch those bends on the high notes.......

  • you play very well for just a year of practice! 5* yeah I guess we both like the same stuff! btw nice guitar! wish I had a GIBSON!!!! keep posting and never stop playing!

  • thanks dude! that means a lot to me.

  • sounds really good man the only thing i can say you might wanna work on a little would be the bending it to the correct pitch its easily fixed with a little practice and definitely worth it besides that great job 5 stars

  • thanks. I'll try to work on that!

  • Sounds good to me bro. I havent even been playing 2 years yet myself and everything ive learned has came from this great site and reading a few books. Like you say everytime i play i seem to get a little bit better. I hope it keeps going that way lol. Keep rocking buddy.

  • thanks a lot!

  • great job man. it's a lot more similiar to the original than mine. What do you have your Les Paul plugged into, I like the tone. Keep rockin'

  • nothing special. just a marshall amp - MG10CD series.

  • I have the same amp - good tone for an inexpensive little amp - I actually prefer it over my much more powerful Line 6.

  • yea it is, i can only turn up the volume to like "3" or else the neighbors will complain.

  • Well done dude! Your technique is very good and it sounds good too! Just some small things to improve, u know, the feeling when tour hands are playing the guitar and not your brain :) I started play a few years ago and as u may know, my video is quite old, a few moths old. I'm not up to much guitar playing at the moment; I don't know why, u know it goes up and down... But one thing is sure: your skills will NEVER get worse; instead better. Well done and keep on working! (I also solve Rubik, lol)
