  • 7 Germans had flashback.

  • 3D bullets

  • is that a louderlou ???

  • the grease gun and sten look alot alike

  • wheres the front sight post or is that the thing hanging down from the barrel in the front behind the flash hider

  • Now THAT is something you don't see every day... I've only ever seen two M3A1's before (one from Guide Lamp and one that I saw in passing and don't remember the maker of), and both of them were very impressive little pieces of equipment. Also, I really love the lower rate of fire, it makes it so much easier to control. That said, I wouldn't want to carry one into a war.

  • that gun Always reminds me of mp40 though Mp40 is a little bigger

  • man that thing looks like a mechanic's tool. haha the one they use to get your tires off

  • This weapon was so easy to build that resistance fighters could make them from scratch in a bicycle work shop and it eventually replaced the Thompson because it was cheaper to build and just as good.

  • That looks like a Swedish m45.

  • haha that gun cost''s about 25 dollar and the thompson about 250 dollar so they made much of these at the end of the war

  • The greatest submachine gun of the first half of the 20th Century.

  • Nice coneage buuuudddyy!

  • the m3a1 is nothing more than a cheap copy of a german mp40

  • @rcrssmn the m3 was cheap and effective and can fire thousands of rounds with out a jam, and only costing $3.00 to make in 1943, I call that a better gun....

  • Comment removed

  • @gunfuego its a cheap shitty copy of an mp40, it also has an inferior rpm

  • @rcrssmn slow and steady wins the race....

  • @gunfuego if its a browning 30 cal, not a m3 grease gun piece of shit, high rpm = they dead fast

  • @rcrssmn which gun was on the winning side of the war there bud?

  • @bhennessee01 the side with the bar,thompson,m1garand,m1a1 carbine, more soldiers. and the Germans held off most of the world while controlling most of Europe do to supior training and supior guns.

The grease gun is a piece of shit. the only reasons Germany lost were Germany had less soldiers and rapid sneak attacks

  • @rcrssmn what the hell does rof not rpm have to do with anything you moron

  • @bhennessee01 rpm is rounds per minute dumbass, it can be used and usually is used more than rate of fire. a small caliber weapon should have a higher rpm because then they can kill faster and its close range so acuracy doesnt matter as much as getting the job done

  • @rcrssmn In the place where you used rpm it should have been rof because "it has an inferior rounds per minute" doesn't make sense there goof. Accuracy beats fire power no matter what every time.

  • @bhennessee01 you really are a dumbass, close quarters is when accuracy means shit, if the army wanted accuracy, it would use bolt action rifles, when you say it in word form it doesnt make sence but makes perfect sence in abbrieviated form. using this gun for what its meant for will get you killed because of its rpm. smgs are NOT supposed to be accurate

  • @rcrssmn watch this vid for proof /watch?v=Oyj-ZHXFKQI

  • @gunfuego proof of what? that the m3 is a piece of shit. accuracy isnt as important as rpm if its a smg, because its a close range weapon. mp40 and thompson rpms drop people, m3 rpm wounds them, but gets you killed. its just a fucking pistol round

  • At last, someone who knows how to use a full auto. Tired of seeing guys empty their gun in one long burst. They spray and pray.

  • @jgreystoke It's kind of obvious. When I first used full auto weapons, I did 4-5 shot bursts.

  • @jgreystoke thats what full auto was made for dumbass, to spray, semi auto was made for acuracy. burst was created so people didnt always over heat the barrel.

  • BJOlson - That's my brother-in-law with that weapon there. I believe he meant that that particular weapon was released from the CIA inventory in 1972.

  • "Came from the CIA of the United States in 1972" Are you referring to the design or that particular weapon?

  • how much does a M3A1 Grease gun cost? Or how much would u guess it would cost?

  • @Ragekoolaid I read somewhere that the Greasegun cost about $42 to make. Actually, it's cheap stamped steel, kinda crude but it worked well until better stuff came along.

  • @mikeoforlando oh is that right. thats cool.

  • looks like the mp40 too much

  • @skimowhite586 I dont think they look a like at all myself

  • @bad74maverick1 not totaly but the way it is well just like at the mp40 then look at his

  • @skimowhite586 Only if you're half blind...

  • NNIIYYCE! :3

  • Why is it called a grease gun?

  • @Mjarf88

Quite simply because it looks like a grease gun, well the grease guns they had back in the 1940s and 50s anyway. look up grease gun on google and you'll see the resemblance (not so much the modern ones though)

  • @JustAnotherYtuber Ah, that makes sense. :)

  • @Gazzara5 Thats the way I see it.. he did what he was asked, and he stayed until his job was done.. he never left his post unless he was ordered to..

  • NICE! :D

  • @solidsnaker1992 he failed it on purpose.. he didnt want to be a sniper.. and people called him a coward because they knew very well that he could have been one.. he carried out the rest of his life with depression from the war, partly from watching allied bodies go through his checkpoint, and partly from the constant name calling by people who don't know what its like to be in his position... they just expected him to go off and give his life for them like he owed it to them or something...

  • @HVoltage152 They probably figured they had taken risks he hadn't. Clint Eastwood did the same thing. No doubt they secretly envied him and called him names out of jealousy. So he didn't become an elite sniper. The army still might have assigned him to be a regular rifleman in an infantry unit. It was the luck of the draw and he drew a good card. He did the job assigned to him. It's not like he deserted or shot himself in the foot.

  • @WillyNoNuts I dont know why you're hating on my grandfather.. but hes not lying... I have his service records. and also, the man's been shooting bullseyes since he was a 12 year old boy... call me a faggot all you want, I couldnt give a fuck, it doesnt mean shit... just please dont call my grandfather a lier, thats a personal insult to my family... because of what that man did, more generations were added to this family.

  • @WillyNoNuts shut the fuck up! we dont need ur dumbass on here talking shit about this guys grampa! hell i would have failed the fucken test just so i wouldnt die! u need to learn to respect our damn vetrans and troops! so shut the fuck up and leave!

  • @CrazyMonkey875 Shit! Magor apologies mate! Sent it to the wrong guy! :/

  • it's a little big, But I consider the Greaser Gun the first mini-machinegun, becoming a role model for the Uzi, the gun that introduced the "minis" to the mainstream. Also, the greaser uses .45 (11,45 x 30 millimetres), having the same piercing power as its prettier big brother, the Thompson.

  • Now that's a man's weapon :)

  • Are those poppies? o_0

  • @fatsuburbanwhiteboy I mean allied corpses...

  • @fatsuburbanwhiteboy I've heard that war will do that to people.. even after being a guard, my great gramp had depression.. he told me stories that he had watched hundreds of allied men, American, British and Canadien being hauled through his checkpoint almost daily... :( War is hell.

  • love how the brass comes flying at the camera lol

  • *true

  • fps russia said this was only 3 bucks that ture :P

  • M3A1 "grease gun" the best tanker sub machine gun ever. You just can't beat a fully auto 45.

  • That one seems to fire faster than some others.Modified?

  • sof2

  • fps russia sent me here

  • @Dravkoj same thing

  • @Dravkoj nobody gives a shit who brought you here" thumbs up whores" like you are poluteing the comments and makeing it difficult to find what ppl actualy think about the video

  • camera guy, dont be right in front of the ejecting bullets

  • @chickens670 Those are bullet casings, not bullets

  • @icanmyshoetie haha oh my, thats what i meant! Don't you win free bullets for shooting the gun? lol i feel dumb now

  • It was a stamp gun which required less money to make them in mass quantities as compared to the Thompson. Same thing was done by the British the Sten gun was a stamp gun used a 9mm though. I'm curious the C.I.A. gave that gun to you or what was the purpose of mentioning them about the Grease Gun?

  • My great grandfather who passed in 2005 was an expert with rifles, in WWII he was going to be enlisted as an elite sniper, but he purposely failed his test and worked at the western european allied bases as a guard until the war ended. Elite snipers had a very low life expectancy. People called him a coward, but I thanked the man ever since I knew, because if he had died THEN, I would not be... RIP Gramps.

  • @HVoltage152 my great great uncle was a sniper, he survived but he was so deppresed after. :(

  • @HVoltage152 cool man.

  • @HVoltage152 fuck you faggot. your grand pa is a lair

  • @WillyNoNuts Get to a grammar class...

  • @HVoltage152 what i dont get is how they can call a man a coward since he failed the test not chicken out still he served our country thats more than some people can say so rip

  • @HVoltage152 Bet the people who called him a coward weren't even snipers themselves... HIPPORCRITES!

  • @HVoltage152 Now why did you post this? Did anyone ask for this story? Or did you just take it upon yourself to bring positive and negative comments on yourself?

  • @NoNoseProduction I took it upon myself to share this story because I wanted to.. fuck, its not like I'm the only one on youtube who's posted this kind of story.. its not my fault that three months later people are still talkign about it.. I didnt ask for 42 people to give me thumbs up. I have a right to voice whatever I want to and I'll use that right as I please, thank you. ~Sam Mac

  • @HVoltage152 Do you have the right?

  • @NoNoseProduction Here on youtube? yeah, people can say whatever they want to. What are you getting at? I mean, why are you talking to me? This had absolutely nothing to do with you, yet you took it upon yourself to act like this bothers you. If this does bother you that I shared my story, I'm sorry, but no one asked YOU to read it.

  • @HVoltage152 Really?

  • @NoNoseProduction Really... and if you don't want to read stories, dont read stories. It's not that difficult... Seriously, what are you trying to do here?

  • @HVoltage152 that's not cowardly, just using your brain

  • @HVoltage152 i dont blame him, What use is it to die when you dont have to?

  • @HVoltage152 One; you did not enlist as a sniper. Much less an "elite sniper". However, sounds to me like this story comes from the video game "Sniper Elite". Two; snipers were chosen by company commanders. It was informal, there was no test, however they were often chosen after competitions. My great uncle won one of those competitions during WW2, but was a medic and ordained minister so they never offered him any post. My condolences for you loss, but hogwash does not glorify him.

  • @AlienZygote010 One, I was the one who said elite sniper. fuck, I'm sorry if I'm mistaken, Sniper, whatever the fuck, sharpshooter, whatever! the point is, he failed his test as such and was posted as a guard. Now kindly fuck off and stop Trollin on my grandpa, fuck, If I had known this would draw so much attention I wouldnt have posted it. Jesus, I'm a 17 year old kid in a band, not a fucking Military expert.

  • @HVoltage152 Fair enough. God bless your grandpa to his service in defeating evil during WW2. Everyone who played a part is owed thanks. Good luck with your musical endeavors.

  • @AlienZygote010 thank you sir, and I apologize for my attitude.. I just feel very strongly about this.

  • @AlienZygote010 the 'test' of which I speak, may have been informal, I dont fucking know, but if it was a competition, or whatever,, he didnt try, he continued my family legacy, so would you kindly respect the fact I havent even been in Cadets before? I don't respect you calling the story hogwash because of a few mistaken technicalities on my part..

  • @HVoltage152

That post kind of makes me wish he had died in the war, stupid fuck.

  • @Coribec get a life man... really, did he owe his life to you? fuck off.

  • @HVoltage152 Nice life story kid....

  • @zelos100 I appreciate the sarcasm bro..

  • My dad qualified at the highest level with a rifle but the army issued him an M3a. His main combat duty was to pull security on a tacked Howitzer.

  • soldier of fortune

  • looks like its a noise maker, with poor accuracy!

  • i used one of those in my mechanized infantry unit; it was a crappy gun.

  • @ayellerbird i heard it was used in the vietnam war and its got poor aim, jamming, and heavy

  • @vietanmay911 we used them in lots of wars; WWII, korea, nam, just to name a few. I used one in the eighties. and yes; it was terrible. Not heavy though. The gun was a backup to your backup.

  • @ayellerbird : a gun to get a gun? lol

  • @Romeosierra616 We only used this if we had no options left. It was crap!

  • I have handled a parts kit from an 'M3', and I was surprised at the proportions of the gun and the individual parts inside it.

    The bolt assembly was ENORMOUS.

  • Lets give it a test drive ? So you drive in weapons ?

  • hmmm... definitely some rate of fire improvements from the original model :P

  • Delta force used this befor the H&k Mp5

  • delta force is more of a joke then a special operations unit though

  • @mapnxyaha2k10 are you kidding me!?

  • @WHOhasFaLL3n

they killed a hostage the other day in afghanistan because one of the operatives threw a hand grenade into a small room that he knew the hostage was in...

that is absurd for a 10 year old let alone a special forces soldier.

they claim they are the best in the world like bigots when they are actually trained by the most highly regarded special forces unit in the world the british special air service "S.A.S"

  • @mapnxyaha2k10 I think you know more about being a 10-year old than being a special forces soldier.

One thing both the SAS and US Special forces know is every mission is a huge gamble, and how best laid plans can go so incredibly wrong.

Take Bravo Two Zero, utter disaster, what really distinguishes a unit is how they deal with it. And US special forces admitted their failing and apologised, to spite every opportunity to cover it up.

The family have forgiven them & ultimately blame the kidnappers

  • no you idiot they threw a grenade in the room by mistake, dont make long responces when you dont know what your talking about

  • @mapnxyaha2k10 Do you? Do YOU know what you are talking about?

The woman's family have been privy to the most information and if they have forgiven them and you have not then I think it's more that YOU have a problem with the United States in general rather than this particular incident.

Oh, except counter-culture rappers, but you do seem to have a problem with Jews from some comments about you. I shouldn't waste my time on prejudiced hate filled people like you.

  • @Treblaine

wtf hate filled comments against jews!? i think you have the wrong person ahaha

  • @Treblaine - operation eagle claw was a huge fuck up too. but lets just blame that on jimmy carter.

  • @AlienZygote010 I'd blame it more on plain old bad luck.

It is a fact of life for ALL special forces that they take huge risks for huge rewards... just sometimes you bet it all on red and it comes up black.

SAS's first mission in WWII was a disaster; failed every objective, 80% casualty rate, but like Delta Force they didn't give up, they learned and adapted. That is what makes an effective special forces group.

  • if someone is in bushes? :D

  • Goofy looking dip shit with a gun, full auto at that. Throw a net over him.

  • @lubbockboy1 ah, another gun grabbing socialst coward. Never met one of your type that wasn't one. retards, ought euthanize everyone of yah.

  • @GrigoriZhukov Not true. I own guns and my father gave me my 1st gun when I was 7yrs old. Not a socialist or a coward either. The comment was on what I observed. I don't shoot at rifle ranges because there are too many silly, childish weirdos with guns. Guns can be for recreation but they aren't toys.

  • @lubbockboy1 sure is how it read...Never saw silly childish weirdos at a range...been to ranges for 40 years. and you sound EXACTLY how I described.

  • @GrigoriZhukov Nope, you've got a problem with reading comprehension, said nothing about gun grabbing, socialism or being fearful, just observed that the man's a goofy looking dip with a gun. You imagined the rest.

  • its like the vector the both fire .45 except this one is more simple and i like the look of the m3 way more than the super v

  • @fieryfoxproductios true dat brother and the sound it makes is fucking amazing!

  • ahhh tha sound it makes brings back good memories

  • @nahsakay BTDT

  • @GrigoriZhukov wat?

  • do both the britsh sten and the american grease gun operate with a straight blowback system that relies totally on the force of a spring and the inertia mass of the bolt to delay the casing from coming out too fast?

  • is this going to be in black ops

  • @GoldSaboteur Yes, a WW2 weapon in a Cold War game. Makes perfect sense Don't post stuff about video games on gun videos...you will be flamed.

  • @Zeldacelda No shit you would think they look up this shit before posting something fucken stupid,I hate these fucken COD bozos thinking they know about firearms cause they feature them on games

  • @SELACARTEL And you'd think you'd "look up this shit before posting something fucken stupid", the M3 and the M3A1 were used by the US Army up to the late 90s. Stop thinking that just because you watch a few gun videos on youtube that you can talk down to those who play CoD.

  • @Zeldacelda look at the terrible MW2, a model 1887!!!!! IN A "MODERN" game....why can't there be some "random" weapons just for fun In black ops?!

  • @Zeldacelda Uh, it was still used by some vehicle crews up until the late 90s, so it's not unrealstic at all for it to be in a Cold War game.

  • @Zeldacelda why not? The M3/M3A1 came out during WW II and was issued up until just after 1991. I ought to know, shot them in the NG in the 80's and with 1st CAV up until 91. So I suggest you put that little pecker of yours up and fuck off pogue.

  • no im sure it was used by the us in ww2

  • Shame that it replaced the Thompson. It's an ugly, ugly weapon.

  • @Carnage1235 but far more reliable.

  • i agree looks like the mp 40

  • looks like the mp40?

  • @LyOnS409 more related to Sten though.

  • so accurate

  • I love the Grease gun and the m1a1 Carbine, my favorite ww2 weapons

  • This is an MP-40 in .45cal

  • "This is an American MP40."

Because it was obviously designed by Erma, and it's primary function is to use only the round of the nation whom designed it. Even though it is adaptable to the 9mm round AND the .45cal (11.43mm)...

Even though it was designed for a different role (The MP-40 being designed for compactness, and the M3 being designed for it's Cheap costs) and even though... Actually, no... I take that back, The outward appearance obviously makes this an MP-40...

    Not.

  • @Blarghenspiel it was Americas answer to the sten gun

  • I never knew the CIA used the M-3. I wonder if that paticular one was ever...you know..."Used". O_o Question, is that big flash suppressor after-market? I never remember seeing a issue one with one of those.

  • its weird that they dont make guns like these in games the "grease gun" the "sten gun" and the "nambu" pistol

  • @jonasldg they do have the nambu pistol in W@W, if u know since ur referring to games =)

  • @Private2665CP i did actually know that one but i ment not very often

  • @jonasldg OOOOH ok

  • jesus christ that thing is fuckin huge!!!!

  • basically an american mp40.

  • the gun is tryin to copy the mp40

  • @GTRmadness its nothing like the mp40. it just like it.

  • This is abit like the american version of the british sten gun. cheaply made and mass produced. only the british sten was very crappy, inacurate and unreliable unlike the grease gun

  • Wow, Official CIA gun?! Love it!

  • i like this gun. it fires slow and it is very controlable

  • i always liked shooting this gun in soldier of fortune 2

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZ

  • do you know grease gun was build in the prison some was in jail but the make this weapon so he can except but he was arrested later.

  • I don't understand why we call it a grease gun?

  • @Scariestwalnut because unlike the other american weapons of ww2 it was made of a simple steel tube for a reciever, so it resembled a grease gun that you use to lube up moving metal parts. god i love that sound, thing runs like a sewing machine

  • @Scariestwalnut Because it looks like a mechanics tool also called a grease gun

  • @Scariestwalnut I belive it was called the grease gun because it looked like a mechanics tool of the same name

  • Lets give it a test drive?? WTF??

  • i tought the grease gun was swedish..

  • Wow, my guard unit had a few of these in the arms room, until the late 90's-early 2000's were fun to look at since we didn't have any .45 ammo for them.

  • man im glad its not one of those airsoft gun again.

    thanks for posting

  • introduced in 42 n retires in 92.

  • looks like an mp40 cool

  • NICES!

  • my father had a grease gun which now belongs to me!!

  • @boozman5537 lucky bastard

  • @GeneralM my father also had a luger lost somewhere in the store in an empty mortar metal box. the other day i was watching band of brothers which reminded me of it..ill search for it later. i also have a ww1 helmet n a ww1 gas mask. .. n alot of other millatry stuff!! :-)

  • @boozman5537 i had my grandpa's kabar knife and a jap machete, but my grandma got rid of both :(

  • @boozman5537 You can send that Luger to me :)
