  • That's strange you almost never see a fighter look like that on the ropes and then be so alert and clearheaded seconds later? Strange. What a disaster for Walker's career. These almost comically over the top knockouts have been following him ever since. Always superbly conditioned, always dangerous, and always on the receiving end of a bad knockout

  • @queenricky

lol two belts?! those two "belts" are worth about as much as the two hanging in my closet, hahaha!

  • damn he was close to bein out on his feet. he probly tried to tire wilson out since he was fat.... LOL on KO

  • damn he was close to bein out on his feet. he probly tried to tire wilson out since he was fat

  • Dumbass referee

  • walker was asleep on his feet. good call by referee. once travis sees the tape he'll see it was a good call

  • A total joke. The referee should lose his license forever.

I could understand if he was getting beat up for a couple of rounds, but 15 seconds into a fight with the guy on his feet???

I don't even think he was hurt enough to warrant an 8 count.

  • I'm a former Light Heavyweight boxer. First of all Walker doesn't have any skills to be boxing anyway. He's 1 dimensional, and can't do the little things to be competitive. Wilson, is far from good, but since he's so big and probably out weights his opponent by 50 lbs each time. He can charge right in , with an inexperience fighter. I actually dislike the heavyweight division for seeing such terrible fighters through out the years.

  • Yeah, I certainly agree. It's something the UFC almost always gets right with their referees. They err on the side of caution and jump in as soon as a fighter takes a couple unprotected shots. Sometimes it can look premature, but just one or two more flush punches can prove fatal.

  • No, he needs to work on a few things and beat some top HWs.

  • gd stoppage! his hands were dropped and he was asleep

  • Its 50/50 he wasn't hurt but he did give the out-on-your-feet pose.

  • His hands were dropped lol

  • i think malignaggi can whoop his ass

  • if he goes to exchange with arreola he is dead..

  • From looking at the tomato can bums on Walkers record, it seems they've been guarding this guys china chin for a long time, he even struggled with Jason Gavern. He's getting his biggest paycheck to get KO'd by Arreola tonight, he'll make a nice opponent (KO victim) for lots of prospects in the future.

  • That was the right thing to do. He would be in a coma had it continued. He better get right because Arreolla is going to have something for him. Based on this performance I will say he's in trouble. This guy went straight to the corner like he was scared. He lost his composure and almost lost his life. This is not good footage for his fans. He looks like a fighter but looks can be deceiving. Arreolla is a fighter and he will be representing his people.I hope the Walker I see here has it together

  • he woulda lost anyway

  • why the fuck would he stop the fight, that was a set up,ill bepissed

  • watch well, he was ko'd the referee just wanted to save him from brain damage

  • super heavy weights are huge

  • walker looked rocked he just let the guy hit him if he does that against arreola then hell get tkod the same way

  • cant wait till nov 29

  • i agree. fight was properly called. pay attention. the guy was getting rocked and let his head get open for more pummeling. could have been worse.

  • that was a good stoppage...I'm an amateur boxer and that was a good call...anytime your head drops down like that it should be stopped eventhough he had his hands up i would like to seen it go longer though...

  • TRAVIS GOT ROBBED...BUT HES #3 NOW

  • early stopage and the better fighter won the second time

  • Since when did the NABO Interim title and IBC America's title become legitimate? They're as worthless as they sound.

However, Wilson got jacked up Friday night. Travis had the look of a killer during the intros.

  • can you post the rematch on here please? Thanks

  • I should have it up today, hopefully.

  • thanks alot

  • hi, would you be able to post the haye vs macarinelli fight from showtime if you have it? If not don't worry, thanks alot

  • If he was still able to complain afterwards, he should thank the ref. He was helpless. Best to live to fight another day.

  • THAT was a VERY GOOD stoppage. Look again, if you don't believe it, and you will see Walker's hands drop as he momentarily goes limp. If the ref hadn't jumped in Walker would have been seriously hurt.

  • REMATCH FEBRUARY 29 ON SHOWTIME.

  • nah it was a good stoppage, if u saw him get hit with the last 2 right hands he was a little dazed. Good stoppage...

  • boooooo

  • great stoppage. i think its sick that so many people want to see fighters seriously injured and dealt permanently damaging blows just so they can get their money's worth. go watch ufc or a michael bay movie you clowns.

  • I think the referee made the right decison. If you cant see Walker drop his head and go limp in the corner you need to look harder If Wilson had followed that barrage up with another shot, than Walker wouldve been badly hurt. And yes Walker did get his hands up but that was after Wilson stopped punching and Caiz had stopped the fight. A guy doesnt need to be knocked down for the stoppage to be legitimate.

  • Early stoppages are in play to protect fighters from serious injury when they are showing inability to protect themselves. They are definitely a need and walker needed the refs help. when he put his hands down his head just hangs for a moment. check the last moments and you will see that there was a great decision made by a quick ref.

  • fighters safety is most important. Hiopefully, it was for the best, and Travis will learn and grow from it. Always keep your hands up. Either it was a good stoppage, or a good lesson for Travis.

  • Just curious, was 'STANDING 8 COUNT" in effect.

  • No, it wasn't.

  • No I still dont See it!

I think I was stopped too early. Sorry. TRAVIS WALKER FOR LIFE (Tallahasse Love!)

    -Eddie Horne

  • I agree, I kept replaying it and I just don't see it either. Yes he took a few unblocked shots to the head, but then he started guarding himself again right when the ref ran up. He was good, that sucks.

  • "Yes he took a few unblocked shots to the head".............from a 6'6" 285lb professional boxer. Look again - the ref WOKE HIM UP - he didn't realize it was the ref at first. Outstanding job by the ref.

  • Thanks for posting, been wanting to see this. Hate to say it, but i was a good stoppage. I thought it was bullsh*t at first, but on the replay you see Walker's hands drop and his head sag. He was'nt protecting himself at that point, and according to the rules of boxing that is when a fight should be stopped. As the commentators said, "The lights when out temporarily". Its just the rules. The fact that Walker recovered fast is inconsequential. Lets see a rematch.

  • Early Stoppage what total BS... he should of gave him a count... I mean look at him he wasn't even hurt... at the end of the fight he is walking around like nothing happened...
