Absolutely. They've got the foldback turned down so quiet that it's really nasty sounding. Thank god they shut down ToTP. All the casuals in the audience aren't exactly representative of a Lush crowd either.

First of all the term "Shoegaze" was coined by the media but that's 'cuz it van have a name.

The earlier Lush period (Gala and Spooky) is considered 'shoegaze'

Ladykillers is something different.

Split was my favorite, followed by Spooky.

I absolutely detest Lovelife.

It's pretty obvious the American public likes Split most, Europeans usually Spooky (or sometimes earlier). For most Euro fans the first video they ever saw is Deluxe (the B+W one ofcourse)

The British version of Deluxe is the video I first saw from them, too. I like Split better because I think their song writing got better than on Spooky. Don't get me wrong I like Spooky as well as many of the B-side off the 45s. I like all of their stuff though, even Lovelife.

I'm American and I prefer the Dreampop sound better, I like Spooky better than this album.

Really? I actually like Lovelife, but I like all of their stuff. Songs like 500, Papasan, Ciao!, and Runaway are some of my favorites. Topolino and their B-sides of their single are also great. But, The Childcatcher is better on the All Virgos Are Mad comp and I like Olympia on the 500 single more than the one on Lovelife. Split is also my favorite.
