Planes do not fly over the White House and Pentagon because it is restricted air space, thus making "kamikaze" attacks impossible.
The Air Force had one hour and forty minutes to stop the plane that hit the Pentagon, which is ridiculous. Payne Stewart's jet lost communication and jets were on intercept in 14 minutes.
In regards to "cut communications", do enemy jets tell the Air Force where they are before they attack? That's what Radar is for.

Don't you find it odd that only one person describs explosions before the plane hit? There had to have been thousands of people in the towers.
W. Rodriguez story has changed many times, with himself becoming more heroic in each installment.
Towers collapse started at the floor that the planes hit, not the basement. Basement, lower floors remained intact after initial collapse.
