@2groomer your taking some things out of context , for one when he says the father and i are one, he's talking about soemthing similar to divine unity which means that his will and god's will are one as in he dose what god wnats, and the catholic curch existed before christianity , because it was a roman religion, and they took that religion and mixed it with christianity, thats where the whole trinity, greatest sacrafice and the cross come from,
