@aitouammi I'm not exaggerating I retired after 20 years in the US Navy with tours on the USS Kitty Hawk , CV-63 and USS Constellation, CV-64 and I've seen plenty of damaged aircraft land on a flight deck, that was a professional landing.
SAMs are rockets aiming at a finally small target in the sky,so,in order to increase their chances of success,they are equipped with proximity fuses,that way,they don't need to actually touch the target,should they pass close enough,these fuses will explode,propelling schrapnell all around.
