Obviously this interview was meant for a French audience. See, in this case, the American is the foreigner. I'm sure if they knew the stress that'd be caused on the internet 23 years later, they'd be gravely sorry......
Told in this interview she will vote "this year" for ( George H.W. ) Bush, although she was a lifelong Democrat voter. Well, this must have been before 1988. Therefore not her truly "last" interview, maybe in France. I saw her very last appearance before the press in September 1989 at San Sebastian Film Festival, speaking also about the using of cigarettes in the movies. She could it best.Felt ill and of her retour she died in France in the American Hospital in Seuilly-sur-Seine near Paris. RIP
Awful. I can't just turn off the sound and watch her, her words are more important. I really hope that I can find the same interview, but without some French Whore speaking for her. Thank You for posting this video, though. :)
@Agdollproductions18 French whore? I doubt that an obvious lady like Bette would approve of such rash, thoughtless judgment.
How about this; I'd like to read a few comments before some shallow asshole bitches about people speaking french on french television during this precious final interview that was no doubt requested and paid for by the same people you're bitching about.
What a love, what an absolute love she was! In addition to being a great actress, I get the sense that she was a very fine woman. She was smart as a whip and very sharp. And such a delight to watch.
Apprenez le Francais ! c'est tout !

Pity about the woman speaking over Miss Davis. No point in watching it.

Merci beaucoup Bernard pour ce beau document.
J'aime beaucoup Bette Davis. En revanche, son livre était sans intérêt, comme souvent avec les livres d'acteurs...
