i used to work on the innovation tankers on the rhine until they got sold worked on the dynamica nova-zembla and the old zembla some of my best days on those rhine ship miss it alot thou why oh why did i have to move to ireland
um ok? Explain please, i though The boats that has been caputerd at somalia didnt have guns onboard their ship, this is because of the troublesome weaponlisence in the different country's the boat is visiting.
that was a cruise ship our cargo ships are aloud to defend ourselves by all means by the pircay act law made by the un we could do whatever it takes although rpgs and ak47s wouldnt be my weapon of choice.
trips are usually 6 months without visting home but after that the rest fo the year is yours to do whatever yes i can afford a mercedes even better a lotus exige it pays for me about 210 000 per 6 months boring job though except when stuff happens buts thats pretty rare for me
my company is ablecargo and i am a captain and no that isn't too much that sounds about right im away from my family for that whole time so i should be getting money along with my crew
totally agree with you ... but iam so surprised for the reason that Bulgarian captain take at about 7-8000 euro even if he works for west- European, Asian or American company... probably they take us exactly because of the cheap labor
iam a deck cadet now and hope one day my wage to be as much as yours :)))
i haven't lost any seas aren't very ruough at least not enough to knock any off... the one thing interesting i recently seen was a boat called the sea sheperd i beleive was the name attacking a wahling ship with 2 dingys throughing something on the other ship it was close to the antartic i was taking automotive parts to australia but had to avoid a big storm
well in national waters the UN makes the rules, although there are rules its hard to enforce them in such a big amount of water. the asians are mainly the rule breakers but alot of south americans do as well. basically anything that happens is not seen because the UN doesnt have a boats to patrol the waters so yes there is basically no law.
@aescobar32 hey sorry to rpely 1 year later but for some reason i just got this now and yes their are pretty much no laws you can do what you want because coastguards cant go into international water if you are very unlucky you may run into a military ship but you'd still have to be in a high traffic area which is somewhat close to shore maybe 50-100 miles out
@3Mudbone1 you dumb fuck international waters aren't patrolled what are you smoking? coast guards are ran by governments and therefore can't leave government controlled waters because they are on their own if they do!
@3Mudbone1 your comments make me laugh everytime, watched them all for 6-8 months now, I love the total overreaction you have, this is good this good, keep it up, just love it. I check into your channel once a week just to read your past comments on others' videos and pass them onto the folks I know.
I am sure you know what you are doing and make good money doing it.
Keep up the good work and keep breaking those balls of those less fortunate, LOL good times.
@wokkle YOU are a liar! I am certain you have never sailed a day in your life! Trying to impress people with your lies. I HAVE sailed IN THE BEST UNIONS IN THE WORLD! I can see thru your BS a mile away!
I think the fact that a ship of this size that travels at relatively low speeds ,compared to cars and smaller boats for example, and it still needs windshield wipers tells you what these things have to deal with.
I you aren't there you can't imagine what's going on. It's more worst as a roller coaster and not predictable. It's better sailing in dens fog as with wind.
Pride of Braila is only a little 2000tonne feeder coaster and it's only the North Sea . . but it looks quite uncomfortable for her. One of the latest generation 100,000 tonners would have a little roll on.
I suppose the Adrian Maersk wouldn't feel a thing, or the even bigger ships I've heard they ordered in 2008, but of course 43 meters wide is a bit more than those 4 Lego-cubes....
Large container vessels shed boxes surprisingly often, and these can be hazardous to smaller vessels - yachts, fishing boats, etc, as they often tend to float just around the surface, so can be invisible until you're right onto them. Hitting a 20-tonne steel box with a GRP hull at any kind of speed would probably do terminal damage.
@shipspottersTV When you say surprisingly often do you mean quite a number? I'm exporting a car via container so I am glad I opted for the insurance during transit.
All it takes is one rogue wave and it's tits up. This sea looked like it had the potential to offer up one of those bad asses. I've been in shit like that and all you can do is hope it doesn't keep getting worse; cause there's shit you can do about it. Great footage.
Numai ei stiu saracii ce indura..si toti cacatzii de aici zic ca navigatorii au bani multzi ..da nu stiu la ce risc si stres sunt supusi..asa ca labarilor luati pwla astia care va credetzi jmekeri pe uscat !
Storms like this seldom put a large ship at serious risk. Storms are far too common and the ships are built to take it. In fact, you can hear the bridge crew laughing in the background. Life at sea -- what fun!
Question for the well informed. When a ship goes through that kind of stress and weather, does the captain automatically ask for an inspection of the vessel on reaching his port of discharge ?

Nothing can extend extremly forces, but the first thing what happends is that containers get damages after that a followup which you can't definate.
Off course nothing is 100% so there will somehowe/ somewhere a weak link which can lead to serious damage or even lost of a container.
So never be at the wrong time at the wrong place
Regards

Did you lose steerage? Looks like you are taking the sea a bit more to the beam than you ought too.
