@370flip depends on the guitar scale length. If you have a guitar with a longer neck (more frets) and get the right strings, you can tune lower without your strings becoming noodle like and unplayable.

saw thomas at the mad hatter two years ago i'd say...but anyway some asshole threw a beer bottle at his head and played for about 2 to 3 hours straight. some of the most impressive guitar playing i've seen! after the show, went outside to check on him and he was puking in the parking lot and then passed out. i asked if he wanted me to phone an ambulance and he said no. absolutely love his style! keep up the good work. can't wait to see what the future stores!
