Heres where it ticks me off. People pre judged this game before it came out like it sucks. I know there were many terrible mario kart wannabe's but this is not one of them. Give it a chance stop hating get it straight this game is one of the most amazing kart games ever period. :)

I got this as a freebie, great fun for a few days. Some of the courses are epic-looking, and the sense of speed matches what a Sonic game should have (something we've been missing since Sonic 3&K perhaps).

After doing all the missions and grand prixs, there was no more playing to be had. Would've been fun to be able to do a star move without having to be losing to get one.

But hey, it was free.

@vgman94 Thats because Mario has a formula that never gets old, Mario adds little improvements instead of adding a massive gimmick that takes over the game, and if the gimmick sucks, like in most Sonic games, the core of the game isnt too great. Sonic has tried to be innovative, but failed.

@vgman94 Sega All Stars Racing is great. Those games you mentioned were terrible anyway wherhogs or not. However Sonic Colors got it right and was amazing.

It uses powerups like older games. Plus the level design is excellent great music and visuals.

@Ryudo9 Werehog or not? That's a new one, I must say. Terrible for what reasons then? Colors had terrible comedy, out-of-characte lines, and bad voices. The level design in Generations was great, but didn't do much for Colors. The music was less interesting than Black Knight's or Unleashed, but managed to have some good tracks. Colors had repetitive gameplay with power-ups, which are not very innovative. What's the difference between the Wisps and power-ups and guns in Heroes and Shadow?

Yes it's a clone of Mario Kart but I actually prefer it, it has more varied characters. Just a shame most of the weapons are dull. It explains why Sonic uses a car in the game, it's to make it fair.
