oh my that year was wicked. that was my first year, shaka, hornet destroyed us. we got revenge last year though lol. its amazing how much work goes into somethin so small. and, there was blood shed, lol
Neither team had effective weapons. Due to the lack of spinning mass, both robots were rendered bricks and were reduced to smashing into each other at a snail's pace
I agree with the fact that neither team had very effective weapons. I have to disagree with the "snails pace" comment. Considering these are high school students who are competing for the first time, constructive yet postive criticism should be all that they are given.
I forgot to say, I'm from the MASH team, and I was competing for the first time also. All teams involved put tremendous time and effort (and blood, at least on my team) into this competition. I didn't mean to diminish this, just to recount events. The speed of both robots were as fast possible for our weight class. It's nobody's fault!
Good to hear you are from MASH I'm obviously from Saegertown. I was on team Jiblet. I'm looking forward to next years competition. We hope to learn a lot from this years and come out with a strong bot.
