"Be different" I can concur with that. However many business's will want to be different so do we have a string of "different" adverts merging into one and the same? Perhaps that's where the USP comes in and thats the factor that we can use to generate that unique quality. Another great video Simon - shame about the stubble ;)
"If you are doing what everyone else is doing, you'll get what everyone else gets" - yes but much more than this- you'll ONLY get a share of what everyone else is getting- do something UNIQUE and you'll get 100% of THAT market :)
It might be a smaller market, but you'll have it to yourself (at least to begin with) and if you're first within a market you'll have the upper hand and much more likely to dominate it...
