I'm not sure. Take a MSI Wind U160 and put 2GB RAM in it... use Win 7... or take a Nokia Booklet 3G and install WinXP ? ... BTW: I hate MSI, ive got a Notebook... it sucks anyways.

What about all the Linux Distributions, what is the best for it? Jolicloud :s ? Ubuntu 9.10 ?

I use this thing. 12 hours battery isn´t real, it´s 6 to 8 hours but this is still impressive for a Windows device. One thing that I miss is the illuminated keyboard. If the Macbook Air wasn´t much more expensive it would be the better option.

Mac are fool choice except working with graphing and 3D. WINDOWS7 is very good, nobody work on PC could avoid using it. ipad, is just a toy.

To date the i-pad is the least functional tablet ever released in the past 5+ years as the majority run windows or linux and can be used with any of your exsisting pc or linux software. the ipad doesn't even support flash!! what use isi it when 85% of the internets video and content contains flash??? Get a clue moron.. No Flash, No Point.

Dont you get the point of a netbook? It's supposed to be cheap, portable and connected. Apple doesn't like making things cheap. So yeah I guess I agree that if they made a netbook and put an $850 price tag on it it would be better than this, but then again it is defeating one the purposed of a netbook.

I don't think the it's a good idea to have Aero enabled with just a GMA500 US15W. You still want to watch HD movies, eh? But you can always do the registry trick.

I do. I do not trust Wi-Fi for my desktop computer yet (24" 2008 iMac).

No, I'm not old fashioned, I just feel more secure with Ethernet. Leave Wi-Fi for your laptop out in public spaces or somewhere else at home.
