  • Eddie Hazel had died 2 years earlier.

I'm a sax player and did his last gig in Atlantic City with other original Funkadelic member Billy Bass and other bad ass muthas.....

  • The guy in the diaper didn't get enough camera time.

  • ~~The Man, Larry Graham!~~ "Is that a shorter version of "T-bone"(Damon Wayans in Colors) in the diaper?????

  • So much Funk on one stage!

  • amazing, not enough bands nowa days have the level of interaction with their audience as went on in the gd ol funk days

  • like how five share one mic old school

  • ain't nothin' but a party y'all..

  • how cool it was

  • anyone know what L. Graham used for an amp on the studio recording of this tune? That's some mean distorted fuzzy bass tone, especially for how early that was.

  • his distortion pedal is called the juggernaut, its an antique pedal, its not in producition anymore

  • in the studio i dont really know but i know that he often used Acoustic amps (acoustic is a brand)

  • He uses a Juggernaut pedal (available now) and an "amp with lamps" and jazz bass.

  • Does anyone out there in the Land of Funk have this entire concert on DVD?

  • If anyone has the full clip of this, theres a part where you can see Sly Stone on stage. He was wearing a red white and blue suite

  • Actually, the amp at :30 is jumping cause of the funking people jumping up and down on stage...but yeh, thats funky shiiiit

  • For those that might miss the little details, check out :30 seconds at the amp on the left side of the screen shaking with funk. THat's what I'm talkin' 'bout, funk it up Larry!!!!!!!!!!

  • Larry Graham AND PFunk?

Well, that's something new and different!

Bootsy always thanks Larry Graham for as his inspiration for playing the bass!

  • One cool tidbit is that when Funkadelic was the backing band for Ruth Copeland, Billy Bass Nelson talks about how when Ruth opened for Sly & The Family Stone, him and Larry used to trade licks and jam. That just shows you just how the funk got spread :)

  • CLASSIC!!

  • 2:39 is just some awesome feelin it on stage from graham .

  • WHAAA !!!!

    It's so great !!!

  • This is : "The Concert For The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame" edited on cd with Al green, Aretha, Jerry lee Lewis, BookerT and many more. See information on Google.

  • I don't think this video is edited in dvd. I ve seen this gig on tv. First they play "Thank U 4 let in me...". Just two song of Pfunk was broadcasting beetween a lot of artist.

I have the first song on vhs but I dont know how can I put it on youtube.

  • YouTube will not let you post a video more than ten minutes long. If I would have included the whole performance, it would have gone over the limit. I have "Thank You" and will post it at some point.

  • I posted "Zanibar" by EWF and BEYondER by the Last Poets both are over ten miuntes so I had to posted them in 2 parts....Try it...

  • I remember..they opened up with "Thank You"..Larry tore it up !!

  • interesting how they put in those jazzy horn parts. larry graham is the man, what an amazing talent. but i must say its just not the same without sly...

  • Shit.... T H I S I S G O O D ! !

  • Where can I get this on DVD???? HELP!!!!!

  • the dude in the back wearing the purple looks like tobias from arrested development

  • LOL at diaper boy.

In every clip you see of P.Funk, dude never has any proper pants on.

  • LOL, 2 fun-e. Ain't nothin' but a party, he funks the crap outta his pants so keep the diaper on.

  • He just a mother sucker!

  • Dude, if you don't know who George Clinton is, I think you'd better brush up VERY FAST. One of his songs, One Nation Under a Groove, WILL BE THE FIRST SONG PLAYED at the inauguration dance should Obama win.

  • Who is George Clinton? The guy looks like Predator?

  • You are kidding right?

  • Yes. One week ago I knew about Clinton. He's excellent! I like his music a lot!

  • What the hell happened to the first part of this performance? They did "Thank You..." before they did "I Want To Take You Higher". I want the whole funk, not half.

  • That was funksmanship and showmanship personified. Not many people on that stage, or in that arena could've passed a drug test.

  • You have no idea how long I've been looking for this clip !!

  • I jus t can't believe that!!!!!!!! That was'nt just funky, that was just stink!! That just went to the next level!!!!!

  • Clinton and Graham. Now that's a dream team!

  • wow never thought i'd see Larry G and George C on the same stage ever
