Why headbutt over religion while such a beautiful song is playing? Having a difference of opinion and philosophising about it, is one thing, and could be interesting.

Calling someone a 'retard' just because that person's opinion differs from yours, is another. It is one of the many condescending ways in which youtube music listeners display their elevated opinion of themselves.

It always amazes me at how people are so ready to bash Christianity as being evil and oppressive, as if all Christians believed and practiced Catholicism. What about all the non-Catholics who were tortured, suffered and died, yet no one ever considers that even Christians have had to fight for their own beliefs. Now ever more than ever to say you are a Christian has become a pathway to being mocked and called names?

@Taintedramen Look up early Christianity. Syriac Christianity and all Nestorians are not "Catholic." Miaphysites weren't Roman Catholics either and as such never had anything to do with the Vatican Holy See. The Apostle Paul was Christian way before Catholic was ever conceived by the Romans...... so there was Christian without Catholic. Christianity was not established by the Holy See. Protestantism also rejects the authority of the Vatican.

@Videomama1972 excuse me, it is very short-sighted to call Catholics evil and not take into the account that Catholics were heavily persecuted in areas such as Ireland, America and in WW2. A particular religious philosophy does not make you evil, and Christians (which branch are you even talking about, sister? Because there's a LOT of them and many are absolutely appalling). Don't forget the PURITAN PROTESTANTS who founded AMERICA were responsible for NATIVE GENOCIDE in the USA!!

@Taintedramen I wasn't saying Catholicism was evil (though many Catholics have done evil as well as Christians of other faiths.) I was saying people like to bash Christianity as evil and oppressive, and to be fair the Catholic faith wielded a heavy hand throughout Europe for many centuries. As far as the Puritans treating the Native Americans unjustly in many regards it does NOT equate to genocide. I think you are way off base using that term.
