How big were the background paintings?

how many hours of work did it take you to make this? i never tried animating b4 but plan to buy toon boom in the future. i'm wondering how many hours of work it takes to make a clip this length. clearly u have lots of experience/practice, & 1 hour work for u will = more/better work than 1 hour for me, but i'd still like to know how long it took u.

also, did u use cut out animation to make it?

I've just graduated from Wolverhampton Uni's animation degree, and our lecturers constantly showed us this film. It was for me, a target to aim for and beat!! alas i came no where near to creating a final year project anywhere near this quality. Awesome animation! i can safely say my class (grad 2010) are very very jealous!

@049485048 Thank you :) I'm currently working in Malaysia as a visual lecturer and concept designer. I came from a school called The One Academy here before I went abroad to get my degree, having to spent couple of years there before I came back. Am still looking forward to work in a different environment though :)

The animations(from rough to colour) are all done in Toon Boom studio; drawn frame by frames using graphic tablet. I highly recommended this software because of it convenience.

This really really kicks ass. I just downloaded Toon Boom myself and started playing with it. Im interested in knowing how long this extremely fantastic shortfilm took you to make? (after you had it all planned out of course)
