  • I wonder how much they paid the beatles to use that song?

  • Keywords: "semi-wonder dog"..hence his four year survival..without eating.

  • Lol I love that you can single out Patti's voice. Goddesssssss.

  • @Jarrod005 Yes, that's definitely the best part of the song.

  • After 4 yrs I'm sure he'd eat the whole bag right there...hahaha

  • i ilke Chris as Corky on Life Gose on

    i miss your show

  • - Nice ass, Tracy Needham. :-)

  • I hate corky , he get a guirldfriend before me

  • According to the Dec. 91 issue of Entertainment Weekly, Chris Burke claimed The Beatles stole this song from this show. Adorable.

A TV show with a retarded person named "Corky?" Priceless.

  • I love the theme, and the film was really nice :)

  • do you think the pantry door was supposed to burst open, or was it a blooper and they went with it?

  • Finally! I grew up thinking that dog was never gonna be fed! lol

  • i laughed because you know sara evans

  • @lissak27 thanks for your help but i must to say that i knew it because someone told me about this site of tunes, so thanks you for helping me anyway.

  • Question - if Arnold hasn't been fed for 4 years, wouldn't he be...oh, I don't know....DEAD?? I can't imagine a dog surviving for 4 years without food.

  • @TheJoey1978,

It was sung by the entire cast for the show - You can hear Chris Burke (Corky) laughing at the end, and Patti Lupone (Libby) does the "In a couple of years, they have built a home sweet home...." verse

  • hey was that guy with down syndrome the same guy that was in mad max beyond thunderdome?????

  • @zoidburg111,

I looked through the credits of "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome" on IMDB, and didn't find Chris Burke's name. Not saying he couldn't have been in it, just that he wasn't listed.

  • they named the downs kid corky and the dog arnold? show some respect for downs kids.

  • Life Goes On, Doogie Howser MD, MacGyver

there were no drama back in the days but still enjoyable nonetheless

  • LOVE THIS SONG

  • I used to have the BIGGEST crush ever on Jesse when I was a little kid watching this show. Chad lowe is so hot. <3

  • I like the Part with the Alarm Clock. LOL!

  • Patti Lupone is Hot.

  • I was really little when this was on. My mom watched it all the time but my sister and i knew it as "The Corky Show". We loved it even though I don't really remember details. Why is there baby bottles on the mom's night stands? Who had a baby in the end?

  • @randyswife5 I remember the show as "The Corky show" also! LOL The mom had another baby at the end I believe. I remember that show so well that I hatched a chick a few weeks ago that happened to be missing the top half of his beak up to his nose. He looks like he has downs (no insult intended) so I lovingly named him Corky after my fav life goes on character.

  • @tpfastback Yeah, during the second season, Libby (the mother) found out she was pregnant at age 41.

  • "Visions" Is very Heart wrenching~ after all these years.. hadnt seen it... made the tears flow again!!

  • One of my favorite Beatles songs!!

  • I use to LOVE this show!

  • life goes on, time to remember...

  • Feed Arnold!

  • Yay! Arnold gets Food!! :)

  • @joyfl I was thinking the same thing. How many years did that poor dog go without getting fed!??:-)

  • @feliciab2 wasnt it four xD ?

  • @somberlight You're right. I should have read the vid description more closely

  • @feliciab2 he probably resorted to his canine instincts and ate the other neighborhood domestic pets.

thats what happens when you put a mongoloid in charge of something important.

Here in the U.S. we put a mongo in charge of our country for 8 years and his left office with a massive debt, 2 wars, and disliked by the countries that usually respect my beloved country. \ my point is furtadas should either be in the care of loving parents who correct their idiotic follies or in nursing homes.

  • corky is cabron

  • haha good for arnold!

  • Chad lowe had THE AIDS right ? in the show, I mean.

  • he had HIV at first, and I think in the episode entitled "Visions", Jesse found out he had full blown AIDS. :(

  • Comment removed

  • @Diabhalta nobody should have put the mongo in charge of feeding him.

  • LOL the dog gets fed each time someone watches this clip lmao

  • He's got down syndrome you sorry piece of shit.

  • this film RoX!!!:P

  • corky is the best !!!!

  • If you buy "Life Goes On" on DVD. The theme song was changed for the DVD. It even says that in small print on the case. They probably did that so they would not have to pay royalties on the song.

  • Poor dog finally got fed.

  • corky is looking sharp,no lurky look on his face like the other one

  • hahaah I thought i was the ONLY one that though Corky looked creepy in the other one. I mean seriously....what would YOU do if you walked in and saw him looking like that?

  • haha, he looked like he was just jerking off and trying to hide it. The look on the moms face too..was rather shocked

  • the dog never got fed in the whole 4 years. it died from eating from that bag of roach poison pellets under the sink.

  • was this song written only to be this show's theme song? For some reason, I thought it was written by someone famous and used for the show years later.

Any help would be appreciated. Especially a iTune link.

    Thanks.

  • It's a Beetles song

  • can you please post the show finale?

  • grow up guy aids is not a laughing matter!!!!!!

  • What about the episode where he "discovered himself" in the middle of a department store. Priceless.

  • Aww, Arnie finally gets some Kibble n' Bits.

  • Ugh. Patti LuPone. Amazing!

  • help stop the spread of down's syndrome. never drink from an unattended juice box.

  • thiz show makes one laugh... cry.. love...i would LOVE to find this one DVD.

  • this is not the finale theme song this is the begining song i look for the finale, i guess it was like just piano song, i guess so anyone has it ? please i want it

  • This is the beginning theme for the very last episode of the series. It's different from all the other episodes.

  • This is the same theme song as the other episodes.....accept the Dog finally gets his food, which didnt happen in the other episodes. This song isnt in the DVD release because the naming rights from the Beatles were too expensive. They have another song for the opening DVD credits that was never used before.

  • i mean when the show was on sponsor or when the show is ending u know everytime had a melody or song with piano, i ask for that because i would hear it again.

  • @bosco022 I know I'm looking for the finale song too. It's totally different from the Beatles opening... Someone help us! :)

  • @lissak27 I always felt that the closing theme music was depressing!

  • @bosco022 I found it! :google "life goes on closing theme" and it's the first result on televisiontunes

  • "Finale" does not mean closing theme; rather, it refers to the final episode of the series.

  • is it just me or did kellie look way hotter in glasses? i think she did. and that poor dog, still makes me laugh to see him waiting like that. and i agree with m2inla.

  • i bet it was corky's job to feed arnold. poor bastard. corky wasnt responsible enough for that. he probably did well not trying to chase the dog around the house with a fire poker.

  • Remember Corky's job at the movie theater? "This is shlavery!" haha

  • This show is classic! I wish the Hallmark Channel would pick it up.

  • I'm so old!!! :) I used to watch this serie when I was beginning highschool!!! Many years ago. It's good to remember!

  • I wish shows these days took the time to shoot a unique intro to each show.

  • i love how patti lupone sings over everyone. she is pretty much the best thing since sliced bread.

  • sweeeet walk-away&:57

  • this is da best opening theme cuz dat ladii hits da high notes at da end lol

  • Patti LuPone. Kthxbye.

  • thats who was hittin da high notes?

  • Yep.

  • yes that is patti that woman vocals r beyond grand

  • yaaay the doggie eats finally

  • I liked Becca better WITH the glasses!

  • Man 1980's and 1990's were the best with television shows and theme songs!!

  • yay doggie eats

  • i hope that they bring back 1989 tv show openings parts 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

  • I like this opening theme better :)

  • me too...they had to write a new song called Life Goes On for the DVD due to royalties and all for Oh Bla dee Oh Bla Dah..

  • Ooooh okay.

  • you know those abridge series they should make one to this show

  • Do have any end credits for "Life Goes On"? All I've been able to find of the end credits is a sound clip on the SoundAmerica website.

  • I haven't seen this in so long. Becca&Jesse were my favorites. Could you post some clips of their storyline please?
