  • @rides2004 toda doesn't only make vtec killer cams dumbass the title says nothing about killer cams moron

  • fake you started the video when your vtec kicks in so it seemed like you have vtec killer cams

  • not super fast, but Dam for only1600cc thats pulls pretty good.

  • always great to red line it for as long as you can

  • @steves7613 its a honda it can take a beating for about 100k

  • @amazi007 dude your an idiot my b16a2 has 218,000 original miles and it still pulls like a mule i think they can take alot longer abuse.........

  • @NovaKane55 im giving it props not hating on it

  • funny thing is those arnt toda cams look at any other video an watch that shit rev if it was turbo

  • wtf 9k?

  • From what I remember back in the old H-T/ClubSi days this car was tuned with Toda Spec C cams, port/polished B18C5 head, titanium retainers, springs, the works. As far as I remember, the bottom end was still a B16A2. Brings back good memories.

  • Those cams make a b16 accelerate like a k20

  • watch the speedo it makes alot more power at 5-6ish than it does 8-9ish

  • amazing powerbands on these beast freaking 4500-9000 amazing

  • man are you trying to trash ur valves :l

  • @alamrisa honda is the definition of 9000 rpms, seriously go look it up in the dictionary :P

  • whats the point in buying those killer cams....just get a controller and run vtec all the time...

  • @jsaulgodoy Yea and have fun running lean..

  • @Grimnest not relly the ecu should richen up the fuel mix when vtec is engaged. what i ment was either get a controller, or reset the factory ecu to engage vtec @ very low rpms...

  • @jsaulgodoy Go to the toda site and read the thread on killer cams, its not the same running vtec all the time on stock cams. killer cams are a different grind and they are meant for it. Stock cams aren't. cheers

  • @1JDMb16aEJ8 well im sure they have a much higher lift duration vs the stock cam on vtec mode...so i can see that in a way...

  • what tacho gauge is that ??? i wanna have one too

  • well wut ever it is its pretty fast

  • I could be wrong but im sure that you lose torque after 8000 revs on the b16 unless your top end has been re-built as a spoon top end with the spoon engine management. Something to consider.

  • I bet this is a shitting wood carburettor

  • LOL okay two birds one stone. One, That is probly a B16 from the 99 00 civic si or from where i live (canada) the sir. Dunno what other motor your thinking about, definately not a K. And two, Toda has vtec cams and vtec killer cams, this car is not running vtec killer cams lol you are right tho about the killer cams it takes out the "vtec" cross over and runs on the wild cam all the time.

  • @MiChAeLrIdEsBmX you don't know what the fuck you're talking about

  • actually I do know what Im talking about buddy. Thats why i got +3 on my comment because Its true. So shut your face idiot.

  • sorry but do some reasearching numbnuts...

  • @MiChAeLrIdEsBmX Ya the Toda vtec cams keep the vtec engagement while the vtec killer cams are designed so that the size and shape of the non vtec cam on the camshaft is the same as the vtec cam on the camshaft, the computer still switches them its just instead of switching from camshaft shape a to camshaft shape b camshaft shape a has been changed to be identical to camshaft shape b (using a and b as examples)

  • if you have toda cams, does vtec still kick?

  • @dopeboyflip23 if u have toda cams, vtec will not kick in.. but! theyre so good it feels like ur running on vtec the whole time lol. basicly if your gunna go all motor and want cams but still wanna play with your vtec then get skunk2 cams. =] but if your gunna go turbo its best to get toda cams

  • ohhh.! arent they like 403 lift? my cousin has skunk2 cams. but i love the dirty idle with toda. ahah thanks man! also for the respect! cause some assholes just come up and start talking shit.

  • no!

  • There is no vtec. with toda cams

  • There is no vtec with toda cams.

  • wrong...there's no vtec with the vtec-killer cams however those aren't the only types of cams toda makes...

  • Toda cams my arse, 1.5 SOHC vtec with an air filter maybe

  • Gotta love the sitting still acceleration runs. VTAK JUST KICKED IN YO!

  • @aestheticsoldier no vtec did not just kick in. He has todas, he has no vtec.

  • my b18b can do better hahahha

  • can*

  • slow my ass .... this thing cand bite !!! nice sound

  • Wtf that was slow lol

  • try and loose a cop in that car ...lol...see what happens.

  • buy a maxima, stock they are quiet and accelerate like this.

  • That was WAACK! Took like an hour to get up there! hahahaha

  • i think he was just holding back

  • That's what she said?

  • thats what your mom said

  • LoL idiot, hes probably on the freeway, you know nothing about wind resistance. And hes getting up there in a 3rd gear so id say thats pretty impressive

  • Your an extraordinary Idiot!

    That shit is fucken slow!!

If this was in 3rd gear and B16 tranny then it is super slow.

All the wind resistance you know of is the wind coming out of your ass.

    shit licking cum guzzling fucktard!!

  • LoL! A little angry are you? Habe you ever been on the freeway or have ever even driven a car? Everyone knows its harder to gain speed on the freeway then it is on city streets. Only a fuckin cum dumpster like yourself wouldnt know that. And yes, everyone with actual knowledge of hondas would know even with a b16 tranny on the freeway you still wont gain that much speed as to say with a ls tranny. Your the dumbshit who thinks he knows everything, no wonder your mother dump you in a dumpster.

  • Go back to school and learn how to write correctly..

I am not saying your a retard, But you fit the description.

  • LoL figures someone like you would say something like that because i didnt have enough space to put the e and d in dumped in that last comment. You got schooled fool

  • You dine at an all you can eat dick buffet.

    fool.

  • i liekz dickz

  • lol

  • THANKYOU! i have an ls tranny on my b16 and it is like night and day difference from the stock tranny

  • you are a re re

  • And you are a fucken twat whom listens to what all these poor sons of bitches.

This car on video is slow.

  • what ever hater

  • Who, not whom. You didn't make yourself sound smarter by using 'whom.'

  • No its "Whom" you Dick brain.

    Go back to school.....

Owe I forgot, Your school is just a shadow. Thats why your stupid.

  • No. Its a pronoun referring back to the subject of your idiotic sentence. That's why its WHO. If you were referring to the direct object of your sentence, it would be whom. I'm still in college, you're still in elementary school.

  • Lmao, you're a fucking moron shut up.

  • toda have RACING VTEC CAMS &VTEC KILLER CAMS

if you seen toda thats not goin to say there vtec killer ,they have vtec cams also

  • damn! is it spoon?? cuhz thats kinda high

  • 9000 rpm them boom and oil all over the road, take care of the engine man. u got to love not force the shit out of it

  • naw hondas jus love that 9k :D

  • It's a Honda engine, they are made for this.

  • people who cuss to make fun of someone else just sond stupid. anyway the guy almost blew his motor getting to 9000 rmps

  • How do you know? It might be built! And plus, B16s will take 9k easily. I build and tune engines. The only time I have seen a B16 blow up from high rpms was when this idiot take his stock motor to 10,500rpm and broke a rod. It didn't throw it so it was rebuildable but it sure would do a nice steady drum role. Most of the time when I have seen blown B16s it is from a turbo with to much psi or air volume.

  • LOL my turbo b18b on 6psi moves like that on the highway love it!!

  • its on a dyno but that cannot be good for the engine.lol

  • How do you know it's on a dyno? I don't hear a dyno in the background.

  • You wish it went that fast...

  • i heard vtec crossover at beginning,,,

  • He was way past the VTEC engagement point at the beginning. Unless he moved it up with a VTEC controller.

  • Are you retarded? he has toda cams that means no vtec dumbass Hence toda vtec killers.

  • better question... are you retarded? toda makes cams with VTEC lobes not just the VTEC killers.

  • i bet you drive i hyundai:D by your name i thought you know better

  • lol that was slow as shit

  • pretty fast for a 1.6 liter...ouch a 2.0 i/h/e type s own a stock 350z...

lol i walk my friend spec v 2.5 with bolt on with my stock non vtec b18 1.8 liter in a civic hatch

  • nice try... car is on a dyno. been there, done that.

    you guys got played...

  • basically, the cams are useless to any DD, or drag cars. they were just built because 2 cam profiles wasnt allowed in certain roadraces. they dont make any more power than another companies regular vtec cam with the same vtec lobe profiles. haveing both profiles keeps your nice idle, snappy revs, and the nice top end. these are strickly top end power, where vtec isnt allowed.

  • OMG PEOPLE SHUT THE FUCK UP. VTEC KILLER cams do not make your car "be in VTEC all the time" if you fucking idiots understood simple mechanics like how a DOHC valvetrain works, cam profiles, valve duration and overlap you would understand. dropping VTEC KILLER cams in is the same thing as putting cams into an LS. why is everyone so fucking retarded? THERE IS NO VTEC WITH VTEC KILLER CAMS

  • If it has toda vtec killer cams that means no vtec ever

  • your a fucking idiot too

  • whatever dude

  • its ok if your wrong just learn then talk about it. most people on here and on the internet like to think they know a shit load. when all they do is pretend to know shit cause they have all the f&f movies on dvd.

  • Um, VTEC is not ever engaged because you remove everything to do with VTEC when you install these cams. Toda VTEC killer cams do not have VTEC lobes. You remove everything VTEC, because it's not used. I'm amazed how adamant you are on this subject considering you are incorrect. You did make me doubt myself at first - but I double checked. No VTEC lobes on Toda VTEC killer cams. No VTEC period. Disagreeing with people is ok; stop bashing, because you look like the idiot.

  • your a fucking noob. do you not know how vtec works? when vtec engages it cause the exhaust and intake valves to change their timing hence the name variable valve timing electronic control. these cams cause the valves to stay open like they would in vtec all the time instead of a set rpm like they would if you had the normal cams. pls don't try me i know more about this than you ever will.

  • and if you need any more info google or lok on here for a video that shows how vtec works. then look at how the high cam profile for vtec works then look at a video showing how these cams work. they have a high cam profile than stock and maintian that constantly instead of having the help that comes when vtec pops.

  • OMG, heres how VTEC works. depending on the type of VTEC system we are talking about, it varies. i'm gonna explain one side of a DOHC VTEC engine. the cam has 3 lobes per cyl on it. the outside two are the low lift, low rpm lobes. the middle one is the high, lift high rpm lobe. there are 3 rockers per cyl as well which are in respect to the cam. the outside rockers act direcly on the valves.

  • under the VTEC crossover point ALL THREE lobes are in contact with the rockers, except the middle rocker is free floating at this point. once the VTEC crossover point is reach the VTEC solenoid activates allowing pressurized oil to slide a pin in the rockers (i believe) to lock the middle rocker to the outside rockers. now since the middle lobe obviously has higher lift, it is now the only one touching the rockers.

  • VTEC Killer cams only have two lobes per cyl, and you remove the middle rocker and VTEC solenoid. so therefore you no longer have a VTEC head. reason for VTEC killer cams, 1. the VTEC system can fail/break because it is sensitive to oil pressure and it's extra moving parts. 2. once you get into crazy durations and lift, the lobes would eventually cross. so after the crossover it could happen that all 3 lobes contact their respective rockers.

  • Thank-you, Cougar10ag. Exactly as I said, for Toda VTEC Killer cams, you tear everything VTEC out.

What in hell is StreetSpeed10 smoking?

  • These guys are right. This eliminates the third "VTEC" stage of cams

  • you just proved what i said in other vids.

  • you pretty much just proved my point. these cams eliminate any type of them having to engage, in example what most people call "vtec popping" never occurs because it is always engaged with these cams.

  • ok apparently google thought i was spamming and deleted my other two posts.

what we are arguing with you is that you keep saying VTEC is always engaged. ur wrong. how can VTEC engage if you REMOVE the VTEC system. i.e. the middle rocker and VTEC solenoid.

when you reach the crossover RPM, oil pressure locks the middle rocker to the outside rockers via a pin i believe. hence this shit can fail, VTEC relies heavily on proper oil pressure so its very sensitive to it.

  • altho vetec killers are the more "reliable" way to make vtec power, vtec was designed for high rpm engagement so you dont completely loose your ass on bottom end. so these cams, giving you vtec cam profiles all the time, just took your torque numbers out of the 3 digits they barely had down low. its all up to the person if they wanna run these to get that "cool" idle they think eqauls better, but a vtec cam, with the vtec lobe having these profiles would give you low and top end.

  • hence, a regular vtec cam, with these profiles, is going to be better. but if you truely need more reliability because your too concerned about vtec malfunctioning because you dont know how to keep up the maintenence on your car to have good oil pressure, i guess these are your answer!

  • your stupid, a full blown race car reduces every variable to keep it from breaking down. the VTEC system is one thing a race car can get rid of. when is a race car ever gonna need the low rpm lobes? NEVER. the less moving parts, the more simple the design, the more simple the design, the less shit to worry about breaking. it has nothing to do with keeping up on maintinence. if you knew how hard cars are pushed in a race, and the measures teams take to ensure reliability and decrease malfunctions

  • yes im stupid because i just stated some facts. wow buddy. go read up someone elses 2cents on a forum and post it over here because you think it sounds good. i can see these cams being made because vtec wasnt allowed somewhere, but because your concerned of it failing? yeaaaa....because that just happens alot. or not. lol the most that happens when you dont have proper oil pressure(because your honda is whipped or you cant keep up on it)is the vtec doesnt engage, it doesnt spontaneously combust

  • [facepalm]

VTEC Killer cams have no VTEC lopes. TODA made the VTEC Killer cams because the Japanese Grand Am racing series, VTEC was not allowed.

  • haha of course it would be because of a racing series

  • Hey StreetSpeed10, stop acting like you know your shit. The more you type, the dumber you fucking look. At this point you seem to have the IQ of a hemorrhoid. THERE IS NO FUCKING VTEC WITH THESE CAMS. Get that through your fucking head. Take your head out of your ass and listen to people for once. There's nothing worse than someone trying to prove their point with WRONG information. Read the fucking name. VTEC KILLER. IT KILLS VTEC. No more VTEC. Please do us a favor and drink your bleach.

  • dude whoever said they r waiting for vtec to pop is stupid cuz he is already popped vtec considering it kicks in around 5600 rpm

  • really guy , toda cams are also known as VTEC killer cams which disable VTEC to work .

  • your a fucking idiot you obviously do not now how these cams work

  • i miss my honda :[

  • what type of ecu is that letting him revv up to 9?

  • You can reflash your stock ecu to do that or buy a Hondata S300 and tune it. You can set your rev limiter, speed limiter, and VTEC engage point. But considering that these are VTEC killers there is no need for the VTEC engage point.

  • I dont like hondas but this is fucking nice

  • niiiiiiiice

  • u all hate cause his shit is quick i love how ur needle moves with no hesitation sounds good and runs good as fuck who gives a shit what the haters say fuck u all

  • now it's a gay honda!!! any real honda must have Vtec! that's honda proud! stupid! or maby your talking bullshit and is it just a d15 of 16 with a ECU for the rpm's

  • im waiting for vtec to pop

  • There is no VTEC with toda cams. Thats why they are called Toda VTEC Killer Cams.

  • lol, your a fucking idiot. there is vtec its just engaged all the time instead of engaging at a higher rpm. best used for road racing since you need the power at low to mid rpm range.

  • Naa honda engines can take alot of abuse

  • what the fuck is that. you cant drive for shit. your just gonna rag up your engine like a retard. cherish the b16. barely can find those around. like hawaii(big island) theres barely so he happy shit head.

  • come to nz and u can pick ur self up a b16 twin cam v-tec for like $1000 haha proberly faster than this, me and my mate have a t04d turbo in our civic type-r pulls 100kph faster than this hit it starting at 80

  • Your an idiot. Cant find the B16? Are you fucking mental? You need a punch in the face I think.

  • shit wtf is that

  • you're gonna throw a rod doing that shit.

  • beatin that engine down like that let it ev up then back down an up again ull learn how to treat ure hybrid motor,b/c vtec's require alot of work when u piss on them like that

  • That's it?

  • toda vtec killer cams are expensive over 1k each cam

  • S2K numbers nice...

  • that is a 3rd gear !!! slow one tho....

  • sounds very nice!

  • B16 tranny has some clooooose gears.

  • is the governer taken off or something?

because I'm pretty sure that most stock engines even with toda cams would let you rev that high.

  • u mean it wouldnt let u rev that high i have hatch civic with a TypeR motor and rev at 8800rp

  • yeah I meant to say they wouldn't.

  • It's chipped, he's either using a P28 chipped ecu, or a hondata or some other ecu...

  • letting off the gas in high RPM like that is not good for the engine.

  • Thats EXACTLY what I was thinking. Why leave such a huge load on the engine under deceleration? It gave me the chills.

  • he probly did it to show the sound of deceleration and just to prove this engine can handle those loads

  • 3rd gear faggot!

  • wow these guys are stupid haha

  • What toda cams are? Spec A,B,C?

BTW: by my calcs you were in 3rd gear.

  • yes 4th

  • what gear were you in... 4th?
