@sambot9 This plane looks better than anything Airbus has ever produced, aside from the fact that the fuselage is actually %50 - 53 plastic. And yeah, you sound dumb as hell bragging about a plane that probably wont see a tarmac until the year 2020. The A350 ain't nothin but a band-aid response to the 787, anyway...but that's usually routine for Airbus.

@Protoplasm78 The 787 is very late and has had some problems with the strength or something like that. The first flight of the A350 will be in 2012/13 and entry into service the next year. The A350 looks much better.

@sambot9 Sounds like wishful thinking...but what is planned and what happens aren't usually similar when it comes to developing an all new aircraft, and you know it. I've never really cared for Airbus personally but you'll never see me making distasteful comments on an Airbus upload. You're entitled to your opinion about looks but I'm not impressed by your unwarranted gloating .Count on the 787 being the talk of the terminal at an airport near you. Put up or shut up. Cheers.

It may not look as good as racy as the Concorde but the Concorde pushed the boundaries too far. As aircraft design improves flying will get cheaper, until peak oil happens I guess.

Although this plane is a technological leap forward, you'd think after all these decades that passenger aircraft jets would look different than they did when they first came out in the late 1950s. They're still cigar shaped tubes with wings.
