i SUPPORT ANTI-CI SINCE I watched other video about the other children scream for help that hearing people ignored the children's rights to say no CI!! Keep powerful words to spread all over the world !
Thank you!!!! I am glad to know that I do NOT have to be neuteral anymore! I respect any children like you used to be and now Emma's wish not wanting to wear CI for tooooo many hours everyday!!! Breaks my heart too!!!
I agree. They have no right to force on children. As I've seen in some videos, Emma's mother often said to Emma "You want cake?" after she put CI on. She's using Pavlov reinforcement like we train dogs. If dogs do tricks, then we feed them. That help dogs, but it didn't help Emma. It shows that CI is really painful.
Your message is POWERFUL! Since the national media tends to focus on its own one positive side about the successful CI, should we establish an organization to recruit CI victims like you for an interview. To have a statistic report for the media to listen our side is very important to act ! Keep yourself strong and continue to share your horrible experience with anyone!
Your message continues to be powerful. You need to be strong for others like you. For Emma and her family. I truly hope you will help lead the march for Deaf Civil Rights for identity and language rights. I'll join you!
Rogue - We both are not alone...there are thousands similar stories from all forms of Deaf community relating to destruction of those oralism products! Long live the Queen! Ha ha thanks for video 'response' !
Matt, I heart your militant-straightforwardness comment here. Taken myself for granted being born to pro-Deaf parents, and I do still feel you, bro. On April 8th, last month on Gallaudet's birthday, Marda and I eloped at the very same courthouse where Emma's dad was slapped with stupid, ridiculous orders. (Coeur D' Alene, Kooentai County, that is...) Too crazy!
Oh boy. I honestly don't know what to say because I wasn't there the way you were there. I can only say that I share the frustration the way you feel because you and I are stuck in our hometown and aren't in to help Emma physically.
thank you for sharing - im sorry it gave you flashbacks and im sorry that u endured that. any progress on setting up a support group of survivors? would love to be of support in any way needed.
u r not alone - MANY folks have stopped using and suffered but feel can not speak of it cuz of that CRUSHING of the truth
it is a taboo subject within the Deaf community. to speak - others say means you do not love or accept folks who have CIs or parents who have chosen CIs - that is NOT TRUE
@pdurr to speak of it means we DO love the folks who have it and the parents who have chosen it. We love ALL of them and we must speak out for the folks who have been silenced via gag orders, "settlement agreements," by family members, or who can not speak for themselves. We must also speak out for the departed - some have died for it. I have seen folks say - its a small number as if "so what" WOW that is heartless. ONE 1 any1 is too many
Nice VLOG!! Special Effects! Emma suffers, who is next? Thats sick if we do nothing and let victims be next! We are guilty too! We need to act now! End the suffering, its inhumane!

@Bunjer It is indeed inhumane to just try and 'chop neck' to be switched on over some packs of baseball cards!
deafmilitants 1 year ago
@deafmilitants Collecting and trading cards, and how was that related? When you were a kid? You were an issue over cards?
