The M4 Navy model was DESIGNED for water...mainly for Amphibious Greenside OPs. Even the standard M4 can be used in water, but in H&K's test, they didnt even chake the water out of the barrel, of course the reciever blew apart...the gases had nowhere to go.

@Zebco96 Yeah, but H&K 416 survived without letting the Water flow out the barrel. And in the Heat of Battle, you may forget shaking the water out. M4 is bad for water because of the lack of Holes for the Water and because of the bad quality compared to H&K

its only the inner barrel thats getting wet, the water stops right before it gets into the hop up chamber, so any gun can do that. as long as you keep it away from the battery and the gearbox.

It can be done safely, and without damaging the gun, stock, although re-lube is necessary.

If you upgrade the connectors, it won't fry them.

fresh water doesnt conduct enough to do that. all aegs can survive this, you have to relube your gearbox though.
