@95blasterRider I'm not sure why they do that, Solid does that sometimes too. I've found a good trick that works if they do that is to place a blanket over the enclosure to make it dark. Every time i've done this, it's only a matter of maybe 10 minutes and my snake has eaten the mouse/rat.
She is beautiful great markings I'm learning up on them don't own one yet need advice if you could hit me up that would be great Phoenixborn83@yahoo.com with some tips thanks
@48tank honestly its personal preference. a lot of people say never feed live because it can hurt the snake. But, i mean, they feed on live all the time in the wild. Plus the only way your snake can really be injured from live feeding is if you leave the rodent in with the snake for a long period of time (any more than 10 minutes is too long) As long as you keep an eye on the snake while feeding, live food isnt a problem. Some snakes won't eat pre-killed or frozen/thawed food anyway
@Camaro9290 im not agenst feeding live but no offence they feed on live in the wild doesnt really make a good arguement cos they are in captivity even sometimes in the wild they will come across a dead rat or mouse and eat it its not uncommon to hear about this it happens alot. nice video though
@snewchybewchy I understand that they will also eat dead prey in the wild. I was just simply pointing out that it's not "bad" for them to eat live since they naturally do it anyway. I appreciate your input though and thanks for the compliment :)
@Camaro9290 my ball python eats live to she eats baby gerbils i breed. ive heard that them eating live prey is better for nutrition and also lets them use there powerfull muscles how there supose to also gives them a bit more exercise. but i food my python what she wants to eat not wat i want her to eat
my snake jojo, striked and consricted but then he left it alone
what happened?
