I Saw This in London in May 2007. When Scarlett Strallen back back for the first week it was excellent. The bits i remember from it was when she bannished Miss Andrew with the huge bang and when they were doing tap in step in time cuz i am addicted to tap so that was interesting. I would have prefered to see the Original London cast but it was excellent.

Oy... I was also there OPENING NIGHT and it supercalifragilsticSUCKED. I have seen more substance on a special episode of "Facts of Life". This was cotton candy dipped in syrup and rolled in confectioners' sugar. Mary Poppins flying out is cool and so is Bert's dance around the proscenium, but it is NOT good. Nanny Andrews adds the only element which makes the time bearable.
Sorry you didn't enjoy it Chgosaint. I had seen it the prior Saturday and sat in the balcony and thoroughly enjoyed it. There were some technical glitches on opening night and I will agree that when I saw it on Opening Night I was sitting in the Orchestra and it wasn't the same.
@MrMrMrprofessor Looking back on it now, yes I did enjoy it...but at the time I didn't because it didn't make sense (as it didn't follow the Poppins Disney storyline that we all know).
But now, looking at that number and the song it makes sense and gives the kids that warning they needed!
@WhatsABoyToDo Yeah. I mean, the musical was based more off the book then the movie. I loved Temper Temper, it's my favorite number in the show. I'm dissapointed that it got cut.
ive seen it four times on tour in England and the cast were amazing and I love the new set for the house etc but ive heard the National/U.S tour is a bit different to our UK tour because there is a new song to replace the song " Temper Temper " called " Name of the Game "?
I would love to see it on tour and I wish they would post some new clips etc on the U.S tour website aswell as the cast list with tour pictures but its not been updated yet.....
oh right ok thanks, they do not have this new song in the UK tour but I think they are changing the show around for any future productions anyway.....
I saw this about a month ago and I had a wonderful time ^_^

are there no new clips from the tour? those were all clips from the London Production in 2004!

These were the clips that were provided to me by Broadway in Chicago, so I don't think there are.
The Tour has changed alot from the Broadway version, it's more compact but I think it actually adds to the story. I've actually seen it twice already!

The new "house" is actually quite spectacular.
"Name of the Game" is an interesting addition to the show - I've heard that they're going to incorporate it into the show on Broadway.

what happens in " Name of the Game " please do they still have all the toys come to life etc? it would be great to see a clip of that scene...

Yes they still have all the toys come to life.
