its really great that people are not giving up on their culture and clinging to american culture ,im from India and today India is like a miini america (thanks to globalization) when you talk about Indian culture and values to modern or urban Indian people they treat you like you're some kind of untouchable and a "backward" sad .We need a movement like this in our country too ..i say start burning mc donalds and hindu temples LOL
@mahamrityumjay Agreed. I live in the US and the capitalist society is killing everything and everyone. Americans are eating their way into oblivion while the rest of the world is starving. Corporate food companies have monopolize the farming industry and put all the family farmers out of business. Capitalize and corporate greed are the new plague.
@yhwh666 not really u see The Dravidians (native Indians) were tribal they used to worship nature. The Aryans attacked India and disregarded the local cultures. They began conquering and taking control over regions in north India and at the same time pushed the local people southwards or towards the jungles and mountains in north India.Hinduism is an Aryan religion. but there are no historical evidence to prove what was the Exact religion of the Dravadians.one thing is 4 sure they were not hindu
@yhwh666 hence Hinduism, is not a part of our original culture we dont know much about our real culture (the Dravidian culture) so i think thats why most Indians are happy being hindu and dont care much about Dravidian history. lets put it this way that a modern "educated" Indian is nothing but a wanna be American he dont give a damn about his culture.
@mahamrityumjay it's ok. While people of any country know and love their history and cultural traditions, their country is strong and hard to be ruled from without. They don't need it. So was dilapidated India, so was Russia etc.
There is no applicable description for this band. I love Gorgoroth, and I love what I have heard Gaahl speak about, but this music affects me in a way I cannot yet describe. Fantastic.

@oasisforever00 I'm a fucking mexican and I think this is fucking great!!! I don't understand what they are singing about ,but I can feel it,una melodia con mucho sentimiento, muy folk, saludos desde Minnesota''The Land of the 10.000 frozen Lakes''
Great performance indeed! I have discovered this genre just a couple of hours ago. These instruments are all ancient orginal instruments or they're a copy from others?
this band are awesome,a stunning woman with a couple of bones,a rams horn,a piece of wood with some strings attached, and some of the most haunting voices ever recorded,it just goes to show what a farce modern music is,who needs drugs when music like this can take you to a higher plain !
Kvitrafn looks so different with his hair so short, but I digress. I love this band. I haven't been listening to them for very long but they've instantly become one of my favourites.
gaahl is just a small part of it.. just doing vocals and abit concept.. kvitrafn (the gorogoroth drummer) is the one who have done all the work with this band (even made the instruments)
i love this music, its not about clothes, but the music counts, the critics the people have i think is stupid ,maybe my englisch is also not so verry good, but just like gaahl ,i come from somewhere else
@wardruna123 in animism, everthing has a spirit -plants, animals, hills, etc.. this includes bad spirits too which satan represents. so i think the "spirit" of satan has a place in animism. just my opinion tho.

The music is wonderful. Climate brings the ancient spirit. Kvitrafn's lack of hair and shoes don't fit the music tough, But respect for hard job.
