Dropping 'Spray n Pray Monkeys' in Bad Company 2 with my trusty Garand M1 battle rifle was so much fun it was almost a wargasm! And the M14 was almost as good.

Can't say I love any of the bland characterless guns in Battlefield 3...even my colt 1911 feels bland in bf3.

How about a joke weapon unlocked if you do some crazy ass challenge like kill all the team within a minute with a pistol/revolver. And the weapon should be the guys finger, but its not an actual gun, it should just be a replacement for your secondary that does the same damage as the best revolver.

To the maker of the video: No. Just no. We don't need more of a "WW2" feel for these games. The key is these games are going for realistic modern combat. The throwbacks to the old FPS genre that focused heavily on WW2 needs to end. No more M1, no more Tompson, no more Colt .45, it's getting rediculous. What's even more rediculous is how these outdated weapons are always more powerful than any modern counterpart in the game.

It needs to end. Enough with the WW2 memorabilia.

Im not looking at recent comments so sorry if im restating anything, but if you pre-ordered at gamestop you get the Type 88 LMG, flechette ammo for an unknown weapon, and the back to karkrand map (not sure if thats how you spell it) also if your a member of the EA gun club, you have an origin account, and a battlelog account all linked to your PSN, XBL, and PC user accounts, you will get the Colt M1911 pistol

@SoapTavish141 It was in the alpha. Apparently gun club wasn't functioning at the time, so nobody had it ingame for the beta. It was showing as unlocked on Battlelog, though. They should have it working by release.

You have to keep them holstered with the hammer down, which isn't nearly as safe as something like a Glock. The battery of arms for a 1911 is also fairly complex when compared to a Glock.

1911 is already going to be in the game, you just have to be a member in the EA gun club. So the 'veteran' unlock will be something else. Hopefully. There actually isn't just a regular AK-47 in the game, so perhaps that?
