  • @writemabel Depending on the position i am. I stay between 5 to 20 seconds in easy positions, and 5 to 10 in difficult ones.

    great really you are great, i do have a question, how can i be like you? i mean is there any stretching excersice for beginner or i can do that even thought i am not experinced? if you have any video for me can you send it to me?

  • upper back gives me the most problems. Any stretches you know are effective? I have only been backbending for 5 months...and im age 19...

  • @fateindustry you couldlay down on the floor upside down, and push it with your hands and stretch it, but make sure you stretch your upper back and not your waist.

  • @fateindustry if you stand against a door frame hold onto it with ur hands a little above ur head and keep ur legs and butt agaisnt the frame the whole time and just push with ur arms forward, u should feel an upper back stretch

  • I have been doing contortion for at least 9 months, but I started to get back spasms , should i keep doing contoriton?

  • @GreenApplesAlli If you are getting back spasms, then you are probably doing something wrong or there is something you simply aren't doing. If you want you could send me a message telling me a bit of how do you train and for how long. I'm not an expert, but maybe I could help you out.

  • It's all about practice. Patiently you'll start learning how to control your balance. Elbowstands are pretty easy for me right now, and handstands..well, not so much. But all you have to do is practice!

  • I don't know. I've stopped doing gymnastics, but I still go to my contortion classes.

    I was a gymnast for 6 years and a contortionist for..i don't know..2 years?

  • This is actually, if I'm not mistaken, the only Cirque album iTunes doesn't have, which stinks, because it's a sweet album, though you can request it.

  • i didn't make the video, but balance if flexible strength. you fall when you don't have enough strength in that range of motion to withstand the wobbling until you find your center of gravity.

  • If you are talking aout losing weight well, when you stretch you are exercising so I guess that you'll get fitter.

    Any kind of stretch is safe meanwhile you do it correctly, but do not try things you know you can't do, so please be patient with yourself and take your time.

    how can I do one without it hurting my boobs? (to put it bluntly haha)

  • when someone adjusts you and helps you stretch. I teach stretching classes where I assist the stretches.

  • Very good stretches! I was inspired to go and stretch myself. When you can balance really well doing handstands it's great to do them unsupported aswell :)

    You're good at the chest stands. I'm trying to do them too... Using a scarf is a great idea! It really hurts when you go onto your troat :S I'm trying to get a more flexible back so that I don't do the 'throat stand' :P

  • can you do a handstand with no wall to support you? or lever down from handstand into the bridge? you should have the core strength to do that if you want to do these moves safely. the flexibility you have is great, but make sure you do strength training to support it, and don't pinch your lower back too much. try to keep the bridge even. awesome work! keep up the practice, you're great!

  • Hi, I usually do backbend stretching and stuff like that and I have trouble breathing and stuff. Sometimes, I hold my breath and I don't really realize it untill I am really winded and yeah...

    Have you experienced this? Do you have any suggestions on breathing in general in backbends?

  • You must have normal even breaths, if you cant do that in a chest stand then you are not "ready". Also your weight should not be on your chin, it should be on your chest bones

  • nope they dont actually! they can support the weight very well actually! ãnd besides, i think if they woould have snapped she would be in pain:P so it doesnt hurt or force anything at all
