Yes, it should work fine. I doubt you will be able to max it, but it should run great on medium. I have it fully maxed at 1440x900 with a single 4870 512Mb and a Q6600 @3.8Ghz. The extra cores will really help due to the amount of physics processing.

it's possible you play but your videocard may be very slow because it is low-end.
by examples:
LOW-END - 6100, 6200, 6300, 7100, 7200, 7300, 8200, 8300... is low performance and low price.
MID-END: 6500, 6600, 7500, 7600, 8500, 8600... is good performance/price
HIGH-END: 6800, 7800, 7900... is fast/very fast peformance.
do you want 9600gt? but this new videocard is recommended.
