  • Hauntingly beautiful. That is so great that you volunteer your time, to those in their last hours. Music calms the soul. I'm 37- so I'd like to reserve you to play when I die hopefully in 40 years or so. Thanks for the background information- very meaningful and beautiful. Gave me chills!

  • i play the bagpipes as well as the a.a flute and i must say that is impressive. i don't have a drone fute myself but once i get the money i'm getting one, it sounds absolutly beautiful.

  • so the drone part only does one tone but in octaves? does it work with overtones?

  • good question. yes the drone plays the root (octave) I can get 3 octaves out of it if I blow hard and pop some veins....I play an overblown note during the song. It works but you wouldn't want a whole song of it. Dogs would start howling.
