Ye this is not that fast. In school in Robotics me and my friend made one that did 50marbles that were black or white. It sorted them in 30 secconds. Of course you guys have 3 different types of marbles but its still not that fast for being so complicated

not bad, mine failed the assignment because i went to a track meet that day, and i was the one in my group that built it and programmedin RoboPro, and my group members made some adjustments!
if you eliminate the home position in the program it will be much faster, this is one of the slower sorters ive seen

The hoppers move that fast because they are driven by the 2 big, black gears on the red belt. It's a very solid design if I do say so myself : )

thats a great idea, and yes, it's interesting, but still not very fast, ours is a rotory table and it can do it in like 20 secs
