I uploaded a video around the same date and it was deadlocked at 302 views the first day, then I get a banner message a few days later saying that viewcount was innacurate between 7/11-7/18 and they have no ETA on a fix.

I just found out that this is now even affecting how the likes and dislikes is updated I'm having a feeling this is no bug no more,something odd is going on
if you look at your "all videos" count for the 15th and 16th, the only views counted were those via mobile devices, the brown line. Something happened on the 14th but it looks like it is back to normal on the 17th. I also had an unusual dip on the 12th. also the number of channels views has been stuck for days.

When you used to click gaming and then clicked "View All.." there used to be around 5 different pages but now it only shows page 1. They definitely changed something and messed it up.

i am not sure if this is correct i saw chuggaaconroy (a LP'er) he had 802 views but the likes was more than 1000 i don't know how that works but correct me if i am wrong

Now, it stay in the bottom, this video is proof, it only Has 1700 views, meaning the numbers no longer refresh correctly, which is a MASSIVE bug for partners.

youtube - stop censoring the view counters - we can see through it. If you are the programmer(s) who work for youtube who were assigned to install these protocols, you have a choice not to support this.
I've actually been experiencing this bug since a couple months ago and I thought it was just me. I can't even reply to people anymore on my iPod touch. They really need to update it cuz it still has the stars rating on it and not the likes and dislike ratings.
The view counts, example a big video would normal have a million views and 50,000 to 150,000 likes or dislikes in one day but, this time its only 15 thousand views but likes & dislikes would be the same like 50,000 to 150,000.
It's been like that for years. The reason is that it's too stressful for the servers to update it on every video everytime someone watch it. So they aggregate the data when they want to instead.
why cant the youtube owners just stop trying to make youtube better and just sit dwon and let there money roll in its better that way for every youtuber

95% of youtube partners receive their income through the adsence programme, which tracks advert clicks, not view count, that means that this bug only affects a small percent of youtubers who have contracts with other companies that pay them on a per-view basis (at least to my knowledge that is the case)
Conspiracy theory: Google is running short on cash this month and decided to shut down the view count so that they would have to pay the partners less money.
@BallistiX09 nope when a video recieves a large amount of views the view counter gets stuck around the 300's for a while despite often having more likes and comments. Thats why u get people saying comments like thumbs up if ure 306th viewer. Although after a while the viewcouunt updates to whatever it its. Actually it's been going the past week. Epicmealtime became a victim on their usual Tuesday video. Over 50,000 likes but 302 views. Found it to be odd alright.
This is nothing new, many of Phils newest videos have been locked in on this 303/304/308 views for a LONG time but after a few days it fixes itself. I wouldnt worry so much.
It's not just new uploads - all videos are affected no matter when they were uploaded. Every upgrade that youtube does usually causes 3 new glitches that last for days or months. For example the text is comments was recently fixed, remember that one? The text was ghosted out for weeks.
Bloody youtube fix the problem already and fire em all. Oh and youtube I want the correct video count from the time the problem started until it's fixed. Hippo heads.

95% of youtube partners receive their income through the adsence programme, which tracks advert clicks, not view count, that means that this bug only affects a small percent of youtubers who have contracts with other companies that pay them on a per-view basis (at least to my knowledge that is the case)

@BallistiX09 nope when a video recieves a large amount of views the view counter gets stuck around the 300's for a while despite often having more likes and comments. Thats why u get people saying comments like thumbs up if ure 306th viewer. Although after a while the viewcouunt updates to whatever it its. Here the counts not updating and staying at 300's for days.

Yes, and i said that by personal experience. I am not famous of course but one of the videos that i posted like 3 weeks ago, had 300 views in the first day and after that just locked UP!! and never get pass that number so youtube its fucked up but what are you going to do? youtube owners always screw up. :D

@BallistiX09 Nope you're getting the wrong idea like EVERYONE else. Before it would get stuck at around 300 views then update it later, but it would still count the views; but now it gets stuck around 300 views and no longer updates anymore. -facepalm-

Actually it's been going the past week. Epicmealtime became a victim on their usual Tuesday video. Over 50,000 likes but 302 views. Found it to be odd alright.

This is nothing new, many of Phils newest videos have been locked in on this 303/304/308 views for a LONG time but after a few days it fixes itself. I wouldnt worry so much.

It's not just new uploads - all videos are affected no matter when they were uploaded. Every upgrade that youtube does usually causes 3 new glitches that last for days or months. For example the text is comments was recently fixed, remember that one? The text was ghosted out for weeks.
Bloody youtube fix the problem already and fire em all. Oh and youtube I want the correct video count from the time the problem started until it's fixed. Hippo heads.
