@pops4u95 I don't think Taki is based on Kunimitsu since she is Yoshi with a kunai/sai. Taki has the short sword/ninjato, but Yoshi has the moves. This is why we need a real character creation mode, not just some mimic maker. Let me choose my moves, even if I can't decide to edit the commands.

Taki is based off of Kunimistsu.

Tekken was made first before Soul Edge/Soul Blade.

Plus Namco makes both The Tekken Series and Soul Calibur. Hence the same Artwork , and Character design styles.

helpful hint: with taki you have to be the agressor or due to the short reach of her weapons you are sure to lose.

i understand the range because i do use siegfried. he has great ranged attacks, and moderate speed, but when taki is up close she is almost near imposible to stop. because her attacks are so repetitive, a move spammer online can simply keep pressing either a known combo, or attack as many times as he, or she wants and taki wont stop. same with maxi i mean those characters were never meant to be top tier. dont mean to offend any one that uses those characters.

Thats where Impact guards come in handy. Taki users tend to form a pattern. They may be hard to counter, but a well time guard impact will usually throw off their whole rhythm... at least from my experience.

god i dislike taki shes to damn fast, you dont really have to be skilled to use her. any slow character will have trouble advancing against her, same with setsuka. but i guess thats why they made alot of the supposed "slow" characters powerfull.
