That's how I normally handle the village. Granted I do have a few weapons you don't have, plus a small stock pile of ammo, but the tactics used are quite sound.
@AlexanderFrost I suppose (haven't watched your video yet) but I suppose that barricading yourself in the various buildings and whatnot would be the ideal plan?
That's one way to go, yeah. Of course, I've played the game so much that I don't even use the map anymore...well, I hardly use the map is what I should say.
I believe this segment is time AND enemy based. Meaning that if you kill X number of enemies, the game ends the segment and moves on. But if you take too long, as you did, then the game moves on once X amount of time passes. Still you did good, I'm surprised the chainsaw wielding freak didn't kill ya. Also, your voice is SOOO cute when you giggle!
@AlexanderFrost Tee hee, thanks. and that is very good to know; because I really was running thinking "OHMIGAWD I have to kill all these things!!!" Then they left XD and yup, was so NOT ready for chainsaw-guy...he's gonna make a comeback, isn't he? I was quite surprised that I didn't get killed as well XD
Well, like I said, I don't want to spoil it for you. You'll do ok, just remember to either go for the head (for obvious reasons) or go for the legs (knock them down to give you some breathing room).
@AlexanderFrost Okay, thanks...and going for the head will difficult, because this is the first game I've played where I have to use my left thumb to aim...it hasn't quite mastered it yet, to say the least XD BUT I DID JUST get Dead Rising...which I've never ever played...and it ALSO has left-side aiming, so that should help me a bit :D
