  • @stinkyminky95 During the drops from weather balloons at 80,000 ft, the cameras are usually encased in a styrofoam box included with an altimeter, and a GPS tracking device to find the camera later. But yeah, these cameras can take a pounding.

  • I was going to say..how would anyone know to return it to the drop zone...if it landed somewhere else..but, they probably watched the footage and saw it was skydiving so they knew where to return it...thats awesome! Great vid...not often can you drop a camera from 3,000 feet and it continues to record after hitting the ground lol...
