I have to say, this IS very beautiful. However, I don't understand why this has the same ratings as some other youtube poi performance videos out there which have much more difficult moves and are choreographed just as well.

Maybe I'll never understand...

the moves aren't very complicated or hard, but the puts them together perfectly. she really makes the performance look beautiful, despite the simplicity of the moves. then again, with such long veils, you can't do every move, the poi would get tangled up. awesome performace :)

OMG I think this is the single most beautiful thing I have ever seen & I have been in the bellydance world for 20 years. Although it is very different from traditional bellydance I find that the spinning form fits so beautifully! Is there an instuctional DVD coming???

Don't get me wrong, that was absolutely GORGEOUS, but I don't see the point in doing this as a "bellydance" performance when the only bellydancish thing about it was the costume and the music. I didn't see a single bellydance move. It was still really pretty, though. Wish I could do it :)

it sure looks beautiful the way michelle does it at times like fire circles. it does add a circus or gymastics feel i m not sure i d like to see in a regular bd performance though (restaurant or wedding style). in a huge stage show like bdss i d perfectly imagine it for some variety.
