its a shame things went so wrong after that game... a game that costed a lot to salonika and an opportunity lost that stopped Paok's imperial march which was a rising force since 1990 , after the fall of Aris (the local salonika rivals). we had our most glorious moments with the presence of Panayiotis Fasoulas , so it was so bad to watch him loose the respect of Paok fans whom he served for more than a decade... the 1994 koruc cup was at least another bright page...

Prelevic , Korfas , Cliff and Barlow will remain the 4 top players in the memory of us all. Fasoula was the player who spent so many years in PAOK (From early 80s to 1993 when he left to Olympiakos after that final four) but after that he remains so much underestimated into the minds of us PAOK fans , since he was considered to be a.."traitor" who joined the rival team from athens

Vratijasesime my friend I wish i ll have that full game on my hands soon too , although it hurts every times I watch small samples of it.... we lost that game for 2 points , but this is what happens in basketball... I admit I cried a lot at that semifinal as I was a young kid back there. but as a PAOK fan I feel proud for that team of 1993 , far the best paok basketball team we ever had in salonika , even better than the 1991 team that picked up the cup in Geneva.

PAOK-Benetton was really an excellent game, the best game of the tournament. I have it on VHS tape. It was great fun to watch. Cliff Levingston was awesome and Fasoulas was his usual comical self. Prelevic too had a great game. I think that the best performance of the game was that of Toni Kukoc, great penetrations and assists. I remember this one great two-handed dunk too. It was one of his finest performances ever.
