first of all, did the lost tribe exist? Bible is not history book. Some SE asian names, customs are also similar with japanese, so r they also related? it's just a claim to be connected with japanese for reason, this proved basically nothing, it's waste of time to connect this cause If u want to take your time learn other cultures, u will find some other interesting similarities too. Also there is no jews influence among japan neighbour at all.
I am from Israel and i want to have a realy good connection between Israel and japan but its hard for me to belive that there is any ancient connection from the far away history , till than things were'nt "going" so far , thanks to tech' usrael and japan and make any connection (internet and air planes) Ogh I am sorry abot my suckish english :{
Theirs is northern eastern tribal people in Siam (Isaiah 39) called Isan, very interesting with theirs linguistic trait for example. (Eng) "little horse drinking water" (isan) " Ma gajon sot nam" (Hepbrew) Ma gajon sota mayim" these guys might be the lost tribe. go check them out, how i know?, as I'm one of them.
if the imperial library hadn't been burned down, i'm pretty sure we could find torah. there's too many evidence to be denied, this video is undeniable
Well, that's very easy to guess some of tribe Moses taught went to Asia, China and then Japan from Persia. These people might belive in the Sun inheriting ancient Egyptian belief. Maybe some Japanese are the descendant of tribe of Manasshe. The Bible said their king was very bad in south Judah kingdom and the king made a cause of Babylon captivity, because of their idolatry. Mose didn't allow in the believe of idolatry. They were released from Persian Empire Achemenid and they went to Asia.
the identity of israeli tribes were LOST within the cultural and dna identifies of other nations as they mixed with other races..that is the meaning of LOST tribes of israel..so my friends..this video is an accurate portrayal of the truth
No, No, No, No, The reality is that the Israelites are the rebels, one of the thirteen tribes who departed from the Maya City around the world, why currently still appear Mayan and Aztec pyramids worldwide like: Japan, Bosnia,Russia, Italy, Iran, Iraq, Cuba, Germany, England, Peru, Turquey, EU, China, etc. that is the only true.
very interesting. they messed up on the Ashera bit thought. An ashera tree was a tree that had been used in idol worship, and the israelites were commanded to burn such trees.
@abetodo58 10 lost tribes of israel were lost because of idol worship, so God scattered them into the 4 corner of the world. They didn't know that they're israelites but God have promised to reunite them with jews so they become one once again
@abetodo58 It's possible that the tribe that reached Japan was a tribe that believed in the pagan gods and not the Jewish god. We ARE talking about Ancient Israel here. I don't really remember much of this, but I'm guessing they were told to burn them so that they'll stop their worships?
Zionists have to dig their claws into everything. Pretty soon Zionists are going to lay claim to Japan, just like they did with Palestine. They have some crazy logic.

zzztopzzz - look up Confirmation Bias. You might be enlightened. You seem too far gone. Again, all your evidence doesn't prove that the Japanese are one the Lost Tribes of Judea. And there were also Celts in China. China is(was) huge and in ancient times, it's reach, geographically and culturally was enormous. ALL of your evidence so far is circumstantial. Just because someone with a PHD says something, doesn't make it true. There are such poeple who say that Ghengis Khan was JAPANESE!
LOL. Whatever zzztopzzz. You are beyond reasoning with. You clearly have difficulty comprehending any argument that isn't yours, and you don't seem to really understand your own. Until you wisen up, you won't understand what I am saying. All the 'evidence' of the Japanese being one of the Lost Tribes IS, TRULLY, circumstantial. I am not being stupid. YOu just haven't understood me, by way of your own ignorance. I never denied CONTACT but it is TRUE that even contact does NOT PROVE lineage. FFS!
@UberNoodleX , hahaha, lineage? You changed the subject intentionally. You said that we present just speculations, so I said "Not just speculation, but there is a possibility of some kind of linkage based on the evidences." The decisive weaknes on your side is that you cannot read Japanese and have no ability to research with first hand materials. So I said "You are ignorant." And you changed the subject intentionally to the problem of lineage. Bigot.
@UberNoodleX , have you ever read the Encyclopedia of Judaica? Even the jewish scholars allude the possibility of linkage between two nations. Have you ever heard that there are relics (Menorah) of ancient Jews found even in the South America, which may prove Jews were traveling all over the world as merchants or SLT? If there are such thing as those in some place, we can deduce some lineage, because they could settle there and had children or mixed with the native women.
If you say that there is no possibility of genetic relationship between both nations while being aware of some remainders found in Japan, you are stupid. We have never said "Japanese are Jews." but "Some Jews lived in Japan and mixed with our ancesters, having great influence on the Japanese religious thoughts." Reading our creation myth enables readers to understand that there are influences of Jews on our culture. Throw away ignorance.
And have you ever heard the fact that in Kaifen, China there are people who call themselves Jewish, who say that the proof of their identity is three-pillar gate? In Japan there are many of them. Have you ever heard that there are people who came from Parthia in China? The Bible tells us that there were parthians coming to Jerusalem in the Pentecost event of Acts 2:9. In ancient China there were diaspora Jews, so no wonder they were in Japan too, because China and Japan had close relations then
@zzztopzzz You are the idiot! Totally and irrefutably. I suggest widening your research to DISPROVE your theory. That is what REAL researchers do. PROOF actually means TEST. This is something you haven't done. Do it. You will SEE that similarities in myth, language sounds, architecture and so on DO NOT mean any direct connection. Huge simularities can be found between all cultures, such that OTHER morons claim that the same ALIENS visited them all. You suffer from Confirmation Bias.
@UberNoodleX I went through all argumate between you and the other guy but you failed in counterargue in specific manner. As a third person, I would say your counter argument is weak. You need to counter argue by logically rejecting each point the other guy mentioned. As I want to know more about the fact I expect you to continue the argument.
@asapsh His argument cannot be debated in a forum like this. I have countered more than adequately with logic and sense. His point is not unlike Sagan's "Dragon on the Garage". He says that the video is true because it says that it is. He says that similarities in culture denote direct connection is true, because 'it is'. This cannot be debated. He has an agenda and he argues only to vindicate it, not to learn. If he was interested in learning, he'd have taken the wider view which I asked.
You want so badly to 'prove' this that you are mistaking conincidences for 'facts'. Cultures all over the world have many similarities, and it is not always because of historical contact. We are all human and the human experience is very similar for all of us. I am not denying that Japanese and Jews met, but all that can 'prove' is the simple fact that they met. That is all. Similarity in custom is very weak evidence because such similarities are rampant all over the world.
@BaronBanahaw that answer is for you as well. You can 'duh' all you like but this whole 'lost tribe' thing is as based on facts as the theory that Genghis Khan was actually a Japanese warlord.
These kinds of theories, including even the Chariots of the Gods types ones, fail to take into account the role of common environmental, social, survival and psychological factors in the creation of similar things.
It is very premature to jump to conclusions based on what looks 'similar' to Jewish cultural practices. This is not how real anthropologists work. These similarities illustrate more about the similarity of thought in poeples all across the world, more than anything else. Even casual study in ancient history would show how countless myths, rituals, etc, use similar motifs and imagry. Our ancestors were all mystified and awed by the same kinds of things. Read some Joseph Campbell.
@UberNoodleX , lack in knowledge about the Jewish culture in Japan caused you to jump to conclusion based on what average historical studies led people to. Study harder.
@zzztopzzz Lack of knowledge? Sorry mate but that is something I do not lack. Study harder? You don't even know me. A Japanese Omikoshi resembles the Ark of the Covenant? Perhaps it does, but it 'jumping to conclusions' is exactly what you are doing if you think that these coincidental similarities have any causal relationship.
@UberNoodleX, I have been studing this theme for 20 years, so let me explain to you why the resemblance is not just a casual proof of the relationship between Jews and Japanese. Jews were travelling the world extensively as early as 2 century BC. Some trourist recorded saying, "There were groups of Jews everywhere I went."
@UberNoodleX, And an ancient record "Nihon Shoki" said that Yudsuki no Kimi came with 25000 people to Japan in 2-3 c. AD. Yudsuki no Kimi means Prince of Yudsuki Koku which was a Christian country located in the central Asia near the Parthia. There were diaspora Jews around the country, so there is a possiblity of Jewish Christians coming to Japan together with them. The immigrants were called Hata-shi (Hata tribe), who created Imperial system of Japan.
So imperial systems include many rituals resembling Christian ones: e.g., Daijosai or New Emperor's inauguration ceremony include those of baptism, communion, and dedication. Before Taikano-kaishin (645), Hata clan and Soga clan were the leading families of Japan. But revolution by Fujiwara clan made them discard Kyoto and scatter to various parts of Japan.
So official records of Christianity and Jewish culture were dissipated and there is a record that Fujiwara clan tried hard to erase such traces. But they remained in various rituals of Imperial family including circumcision. And there are some dozens of people from Hata clan who are working for protection of Imperial system. The era of persecution has been lasting to this day, so they are very careful to tell the secret of our country: Christianity.
@zzztopzzz Well, one can study a misconception or falsity for a lifetime. Time itself does not validate. Contrary to your position, the very idea of the Lost Tribeshas been called is a misconception in itself. Apart from that, you can easily find similarities and supposed connections in cultures all across the world.Though it is fact that Jews and the religion has been part of Japan's cultural fabric historically, the rest of this assertion is nothing more than speculation.
And for interest's sake, there are circumcision rites in multiple cultures. The practice has been in existance for thousands of years, independent of Judaism. Many groups of Australian Aboriginals did it and still do it. Some African peoples did it. The Egyptian Pharoahs have been found to have done it too.
@UberNoodleX , hahaha, when I said that the circumcision is a custom of only Jews? Research well before judging something by just an impression. You are too ignorant to discuss this matter. Period.
@zzztopzzz LOL You call me ignorant? The facts remain that your entire stance is based on speculation on similarities and coincidences which could similarly found between anything if one had the time and agenda to 'find' them. I not 'ignorant' because I use my head and my experience, whereas you are just citing the same 'facts' over and over, and seem to think that that counts as a rebuttle. Not at all. You still have not addressed anything I have said. You don't have any proof.
@UberNoodleX , hahaha, your blindness based on the notion that every person with opinions similar to mine is using the same way as that of speculation on similarity have led you to misjudgement of my words. I repeated that Japanese old materials show that the Hata tribe came from the silk road and there are many evidences showing that in ancient period there were jewish travelers and residents in far east. You are desparately prejudiced and bigot, so no words can be found to talk to you. lol
UberNoodleX , I say to you one more thing if you have ears. There are many evidences by scholars, for example, Prof. Enami of Tokyo Univ. said that Japanese imperial system was formed by Bueyo tribe coming from the continent with a lot of horses, with which they were traveling around the continent from the Vulcan peninsula to Korea. His mentor, another professor Saeki of Waseda, said that ancient Christianity was introduced to Japan in 3rd century. There are Phoenician inscriptions in Japan.
In Yonakuni, Gifu, and some other places, the Phoenician letters inscribed in rocks. The notion of no existence of East-west relation, including Israel and Japan, in the ancient time is a silly speculation based on no evidences. The Bible says that peacocks, which is Asian origin, were included in the tributes to Solomon, whose floats are said to have traveled to India. Throw away your arrogant stupidity.
@UberNoodleX , whether the conception of Lost tribes is a misconception or not is not important here. The fact that Jewish tribes were scattered in the East is a historical fact, which can be proved by the Bible that says "some Jews came from Parthia". The historical science needs the link between some factors to prove the factors being related to each other. If there are records of Christian Jews near Parthia coming to Japan, this can be called a proof.
@zzztopzzz , if you can read Japanese, read "Nihon Shoki", which is one of the most important historical records about the ancient Japan, which says that Hata clan came to Japan from Kunyue kingdom, Christian Jewish kingdom, which was located near the Parthia. Jews were actively working as a trader of silk, so no wonder they came to Japan as such.
