you guys didn't get it well, the MS technology is a bit different because it can be applied to ANY monitor (laptop, desktop monitors, etc), in a cheap price. it's a bit different from the actual toutch screen technology

2. I HATE graphical gimmiks if I work. Why any transisions? I have XP but still use the 98 layout because its faster and easy on the eyes. No slowly gliding windows on my screen there arent!

An instant pop is faster than any transision because its there on the spot. And the 98 layout is faster, because the XP way is too fancy.. not that my computer is slowed down by that..

I just prefere really fast actions so one of that rotating stuff is of any use to me, because it just takes time during rotation. thats what i meant

Multi-touch has been around since 1982. It's neither an Apple or Jeff Han invention. Take a look at Bill Buxton's blog. Look for the "Multi-Touch Systems that I Have Known and Loved" post...

LMAO - nobody can accuse Microsoft of ripping this off from Apple. Microsoft has nailed this one - so often I've wanted to resize & spin photo's on a laptop with cameras and sensors duct taped to back of the screen.

Apple, fools that they are, have gone down the road of patenting LCD screens with pixels that double as image sensors.

One of the reasons that Microsoft is bigger is that they dont sell the hardware. You can put their OS on a $500 or $5000 box AMD or INTEL.

But they don't have the sexy selling style of Jobs.
