This movie is so nice. This is how you make a good adventure movie. A good villain, nice characters, comedy and action. They ruined the franchise making the third one. There's no Rachel Weisz, no Imotep, and the story take place in China. I didn't liked :(

What they were thinking when they took the "Mummy" idea to China I'll never know. I mean the heiroglypics - badass, the fact that it was in Egypt - badass, the Book of the Dead and the Book of Amun Ra along with the City of the Dead Hamunaptra- need I say it? BADASS!

And why... whyyyy did they make the movie without Rachel Weisz.

The Mummy rules, Mummy Returns was good. Nuff said. Dragon Emperor just didnt cut it.... :/ Sorry for those of you who enjoyed it.

the mummy 1999 was filmed in marrakesh and ourzazate , i was working as movie extra in another movie and i did get the chance to see the exyptian museum the same night when imhotep brought all his people (they were about 700 extras) to take anck su namun , and it was extremely hot .

@MichaelJacksonFan000 not really i had 3 days of work as extra in salt like 2 years ago here in albany ny , it was bad experience , i used to work as extra when i was in morocco , they always do movies over there more than here in the states , if you check movies like green zone , body of lies , etc they were all filmed in south of morocco , we really had good times working in these movies , especially spygame , i had the chance to talk to robert redford too he`s a cool guy :P
