k, first of all, brian, stop talking... the azalea festival really wasn't that big a deal... second, as far as the drums, yeah it was basic, because we have a pretty weak program, it's gotten better since then (i was the captain this past year, this video was junior year), we had issues with people not wanting to actually learn what our perc director wrote, so they played a basic rock groove,

eventually we (director and i) whipped people around and we started playing the written part which was much better

director marching with Phantom in 2001, he knows what he's doing

major problem was placement, drums shouldnt've been so far back, plus yeah, we had a huge freshman class that year = really sloppy

unfortunately we're not quite as strong a program as most of the schools with videos out there (brian i can show you some actually special groups)

but for what we have it's fine

We're one of the best in the state of Michigan, so don't tell me I don't know what a good band sound is.

And yes, I know it's a video recording, but that shouldn't make your sound completely off then what it really sounds like.
