This is definitely the best way to become Fierce Diety Link outside of boss battles. It can basically be done anytime, and in a variety of different places. (Termina Field, Great Bay, Ikana Canyon, etc.)
As for the person who warned about entering Clock Town, getting out is not an issue. In the part of Clock Town with the entrance to the Bomber's Hideout, you can actually get over the guard and out to the field by jumping off a platform above and to the left.
This is a warning...Don't go into Clock Town after doing this. The guards still act like you're a kid, but even after you talk to them, they won't let you leave. NOW YOU KNOW!!!
Is it just mine, but after i did this, when i try to throw the fins as the zora, it doesnt zoom in or let me aim it. hopefully it wont mess up the other file if i start one, did this only happen to me?
LOL i tried doing this on the collectors edtion but not using the fierce deity mask (i didnt have it on the file yet) i was trying to use a powder keg without the gorons mask on. i got stuck n tried moving around. then i got stuck even worse crouching underwater facing the ocean n only way to move was to guard and i couldnt even change point of view
thats the thing u dont need gorons mask to use em here. because u did change to goron the game knows u arent supposed to be in water but u spawned there and didnt drop into water. idk its long, but yeah.
does this work in the European version?

get in the water as fierce deity with Zora mask on any of the buttons and you can change to zora form, from there you can change back

I keep trying to do this but i get to the part rite after the Dive button disappears then i cant swim then roll. it just doesn't work
